Wow, am I the only one who would be happy to see her? I thought she was fantastic on Dancing with the Stars, and coped brilliantly with her one leg. I have 2 legs and I couldn't do what she did.

Pain comes and goes depending on the disability. My mother is sometimes in a wheelchair, sometimes plays football with my younger bro, depending on how her medication is - how the weather is, fatigue, etc.

I think its hard to generalise about people's bodies and their diabilities.

No - I'd love to see her dance - I think she was amazing on DWTS - great personality and spirit, and gives disabled people out there such great hope and shows what a positive attitude can do. In fact she does that for non-disabled people too.

Kate Garraway should take notice - Heather is a better dancer then her and she's only got one leg - check out her mambo if anyone needs proof.

(think about Kate's dancing the salsa this week when you what Heather!)

If she can dance, then I wouldn't feel anything. I'd be more annoyed if Macca came on and performed his latest shit.

(she is a compulsive attention seeker and madder than a box of frogs, but that won't matter)

Can't say I'll be that bothered if she is on the Xmas special. I don't bother reading all the tabloid stuff but from what I saw of her on DWTS she did put in a lot of effort. I agree Kate should take note.
Her DWTS partner Jonathan Roberts was interviewed on GMTV and was very positive about her and said they remain good friends.

I think she'd be the 1st contestant ever to be booed on SCD, either that or complete silence!

Oh no, I posted when the last series of DWTS finished that I wished more than anything to have Joey Fatone from the series who was fantastic to guest on the Christmas special and imagine how I felt when I saw about Mills in the paper today.........

I would be extremely disgruntled if Heather Mills came anywhere near anything to do with SCD .
I don't know her and neither like or dislike her , but I do believe she is a flagrant attention seeker and one of the most publicity hungry non celebrities ever .
She was one of the first ever people to sell a story to the highest bidder , after her tragic accident . Apparently she made agreements to sell her tale from hospital .

I think if she appeared the whole show would become a publicity vehicle for her and her grouses against Paul McCartney , of whom I am no particular fan and who I understand is not a very nice person in reality , but no way is SCD the place for either of them .

I trust the beeb not to touch such poison and lose the public goodwill.

Now i do think Mel B might do it - what with the greatest hits out 'and all'. Also she is doing very strong work on the US show.

I read the article too, and it reports that Heather persuaded producers to allow her to take part in the xmas special. If this is true, then I think this is the thing that irritates me most.

She forced her way onto the GMTV sofa to have her interview a few weeks ago, she's been in the headlines since.

Now to put yourself onto SCD is just another publicity stunt.

You know.... I don't know what's going on, I don't know the truth about the divorce or whatever, but from what I've seen, Heather has put herself into the spotlight and is getting all the bad press. She brought it on herself.

I don't see how taking part in SCD can make things any better. It just won't.

Well I won't be watching it if she's on. I value my television too much and I might be forced to put my foot through the screen.

One slight problem is that Mel B will be on tour with the Spice Girls so wouldn't be available to rehearse or record the show which is a great shame as I think she'd be wonderful

Will she be dancing to Yesterday.

I would prefer the christmas special to be like last year and bring back series 4 contestants.

Not forgetting it's the season of goodwill, I think we should all welcome the 'poor unfortunate' Ms Mills on to the show.

Added bonus is that she will irritate the nuts off the irritable.

She would be too much of a distraction, with the court case looming, whenever that may be.

Totally agree - just been reading about this and both me and OH said she would put us right off watching it - especially if as is reported she is dancing with Brendan - now I know he's a naughty boy at times but he doesn't deserve that
