The same old judges
charliefox

I was just wandering why the same old, tired judges are invited back to SCD season after season. Surely there are - and I dare I say it - better judges out there. Personally, they work on my nerves when they argue amongst each other like school kids instead of commenting on the dance. This is why I think the audience are voting to keep in the couples the judges don't like. SCD has become a "Judges vs. the voting public" war.
If the same judges appear on next year's SCD then I don't think I'll be watching.

I'd like a couple of new ones at least. Although it's hard to consider who is worth keeping really!

I would like to keep Craig and Len , but I wouldn't miss The other two very much.

I like Craig, and I don't mind Arlene (shock horror!) because I think in the grand scheme of things they mark fairly.

Len and Bruno are more encouraging, and I do like that, but they mark ridiculously.

I don't mind them all in their funny way - at least they provoke a reaction in us

I tend to like them better when they're nice about my favourites (or when they agree with my analysis of the dancing!)

think about what you are wishing for - would not trust the BBC to pick anyone better - look at who they picked for the Red Button

They should bring Carrie Ann over, she's a great impartial job & very likeable.

I agree time to reshuffle these judges.

I just wish they would get rid of Bruno. That man does my "nut" every Saturday. If they insist on keeping them all, will someone gag him.

I find Len very encouraging. No matter how bad the dancer/dance is, he usually finds something good to say, even if it is that they are a little better than last week.

The problem with Len is that he will give crappy Kate a 6 for a "better then last week dance" and a 6 to some one like Matt or Letita for not being at their best. Which is it Len?

Len needs to say good things but then mark them down

I'd keep Craig and Len since they balance each other out quiet nicely (Craig is often too harsh and Len often too generous) but dump the other two. Arlene is becoming a complete embarassment at times and Bruno...well I don't dislike him but he's a bit of a joke as a judge.

At the moment to have 3 choreographers and only one ballroom judge seems like the wrong balance - surely it should be the other way round.

Keep Craig and Len, Bruno is to OTT and arlene my god how appalling has she become with those stupid sayings she tries to slot in.
