Hey guys, I was just wondering are FM Transmitters like the iTrip illegal to use in the UK? I want to get one just to use around the house. Thanks if anyone can help

I have that one. It's pretty good and because it lets you use almost any frequency on the FM band it's easier to find a vacant channel (except in London where there aren't any).
The only niggle is that you need to have your mp3 player at about 80-90% of full volume; any lower and it will be too quiet for in-car listening but any higher and it will overload the Audiax and sound distorted,
i got an itrip from currys digital today literally just to try it out. wasn't too impressed. basically my idea was instead of having my ipod in a dock and using a remote to contol it from far, my ipod would 'be' the remote. but when i move the ipod around a bit it just crackles and doesn't sound too good.

Using something like MP3 Gain to normalise the audio level of all your MP3 files helps a lot I find.
