This might work or might not...

Here's a thread for any interesting facts, stats or corrections about the show.

Just to clear up what Claudia said on ITT last night, the highest score for a male rhumba is not 27. Colin and Erin scored 36 (9,9,9,9) in week 8 of series 3 dancing to "You're Beautiful", and repeated the feat in the final.

Darren Gough also beat 27 by scoring 30 in series 3 week 8 to "Beautiful" (8,7,8,7).

I think if you rhumba to a song with Beautiful in the title you'll do alright

The highest rhumba score is 38 (9,10,9,10) by Zoe and Ian to "Perfect Year" in last years Christmas Special. Natasha and Brendan got 36 (9,9,9,9) in regular competition.

Guess who has the lowest? Fiona Phillips with 11 (1,2,6,4)

And by the way, Camilla might have been excited on Saturday as her and Gethins 36 was her highest score in all five series she has competed in, beating the 35 she got last series with Ray Fearon.

Zoe and Ian received 36 for their VW.
Mark and Karen also received 36 pts for theirs.
also Kelly and Brendan on 36pts too :)
Ray and Camilla 35.

as I am unable to remain serious for very long, I'm more interested in the stats for

- average number of glasses of wine consumed per SCD show
- average number of crisps/dips/other assorted nibbles
- nos of times per show you imitate Tess' northern accent by calling the couples "cooples"
- nos of times you say "but I thought that was great" when the judges do their comments
- nos of times your beloved oH says "oh for godsake not this...god I hate this, I never watch it... it's rubbish.....hmmm well I thought Alesha was much better last week"

soz to be non serious QM

4 for me, only because I tend to keel over after 4 and I wouldn't see who was dancing what.

About 10 chocs. Now that's willpower.

Too many to count but I think I mimic Tess Mispronunciation about once every 6 minutes.

Usually twice in a show. I agree with them most of the time....weirdly.

Thankfully never.

Can I have a choc?

- number of minutes it takes you to figure out that when Tess says "sulzuh" she means salsa...

(Almost 30 in my case, I'm ashamed to say!)

_ glasses of wine - none, bottles of baileys - can't remember. I have Alcohol related amnesia

- loads, to soak up the baileys - at least i think so, i can't really remember that either!

- never - husband from similar area, and besides, everyone sounds the same after a few baileys

-Husband loves it! (which is another reason I don't make any tess comments - he's there and he'd sulk bigtime!!)

In all the series of Strictly which dances have scored at least one 10?
I know pre finale last year Mark got 10s for his AT and Louisa got a 10 for her jive. Did Emma bunton get any 10s?

Although it IS a hard dance, especially stamina wise, I've never expected a 10 for a VW as it's the most limited choreographically and don't think it's something that can be pushed for a 10 artistically.

Cha Cha Cha.....don't know why.
