An Idiots Question About Digital TV setup!
Ambassador
14-11-2007
Having always relied on Sky for my digital television I've recentley bought an LG HD Ready Digital Television for the office

Now, I'm a complete novice when it comes to television set up...

To recieve the digital television from the inbuilt tuner is it simply a case of buying an indorr digital aerial and attaching it and away we go?

I don't have an atenna or aerial connection in the office

Its probably a very easy answer but its much appreciated!

Yes for Freeview you will need an aerial (indoor can work but no guarantee) and of course your local transmitter has to be providing the 6 DTT muxes at a strength and quality that your tuner will pick up.

It would be nice to say it's simply plug an aerial in and you are all set but as DTT (Freeivew) is not a national service and is restricted to protect analogue TV broadcasts it's not straight forward
