I record SCD on BBC HD each Saturday but alas will not be able to this saturday as it appears to have been pulled.

Anyone any idea as to the reason why? Not as if they're replacing it with anything.

It's only for one week as the show has moved from studio 1 at the BBC to make way for children in need. Expect hi-def transmission to continue the following week

Oh I was so upset as we got our new HD widescreen TV this week & the Sky chappie came & put in our new box yest. I just assumed SCD would be on BBCHD channel & nearly cried when it was not there.
Yeah I'm a happy bunny now I've found it will be back next week, wooo hooo .
Delightful dresses, gorgeous Gethin, beautiful babes, prancing professionals all in high definition - bliss .
(I can alliterate with the best of them - neh to Arlene ).

Apparently with HD you can see all the facial imperfections. A stray eye brow hair, nose hair, moustache from women, zits, coffee-stained teeth, false teeth, etc..

Can you see through Kelly`s dress ??..No I`am not Dominic.

Well that's a shame I'll have to wait till next week now to report back on whether anyone's got zits, dodgy teeth or syrups (I'll have a good look at Bruce ).
So far we've only watched Bones, Journeyman & some hollywood films on HD (looked fantastic btw) & have n't seen anything dodgy so far but lbh the Hollywood celebs are a lot more vain than ours & have Davinci porcelain veneers, electrolysis & hair plugs .

Films have undergone post production, and the lightings used in films are often more flattering. For a 'glamour' shows like SCD, they use harsh lightings and this often shows the contestants' facial details at its 'best'... *Yuk*
