Recommendations for a Wireless media player
Hi guy’s,
Looking for some advice .. the girlfriend wants music in the bathroom, nothing too expensive but something that puts out a good sound. I was wondering if someone can recommend a system that is wireless (can hook up to a my server where i will dump all her CD’s), has a built in AMP and speakers and a decent interface. Would be handy if it also supports internet radio. She has quite a big bathroom so doesn’t have to be water resistant. Any help greatly appreciated |

You forgot to mention 'battery powered', it's illegal to have mains sockets in a bathroom.

Revo Pico Wi-Fi Portable Internet Radio has a rechargable battery. Expensive though.

on ebuyer they have the Pinnacle Soundbridge Wi Fi player for under £40 quid. I was going to put up a post about it to see if anyone can vouch for it cause i'm after one myself, so if anyone can help that would be appreciated by me as well. all the reviews i have read seem very positive.
you can find it here http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131852 Edit: i have just checked the link and it seems to have gone up to 90 quid in the last half hour, i think they have it cheaper on amazon and firebox now Last edited by robjphat : 19-11-2007 at 13:10. Reason: change of details |

Thanks for the info ... Wow ... thats a good price .. i paid over £100 for mine ... i have that unit hooked up to my AMP so i can get english radio stations ... highly recomended .... not sure if i can use it in the bathroom though .. i did think about this but will have to buy speakers with built in amp ... was thinking of the new Bose PC speakers ... i think i want something all in one ... good idea though Quote:
