.....when you visit the forum? Or indeed which are the only threads you go into or do you take a peak at every one?

I always go into the Matt & Alesha one and the Team Cutler. As a rule I will take a look at Gethin's thread. I also normally have a look how the favorite/least favorite couple polls are doing. And then take a look at anything else that looks interesting, unusually yesterday evening I went into the ITT thread first.

Team Cutler is the only one I constantly go into but i'll pop into some other randoms if they intrest me ie: SCD Backstage story, weekly polls, ITT thread sometimes, Lazy Journalist one... and anything else that takes my fancy

I check anything relating to dancesport, anything that has an interesting or unusual title, and others relating to professional performances / music / things I know a bit about / anything that looks like it could hold an interesting and lively discussion really.

I also don't tend to touch any of the fan threads apart from my own (Paul and Hanna), as I don't have a favourite yet for this series.

There are a lot of threads I give a miss to.

For example, on the first few pages of the forum you'll find threads with titles such as:

Mark Ramprakash
James Martin
Paul Killick
Louisa Lytton
Colin Jackson
Karen Hardy

Er, excuse me, none of these people are actually in the competition.

I'm with you there apart from reading the thread about Karen on 'Breakfast' which is relevant to this competition. I read anything that looks interesting and regularly visit the 'Brendan' and 'Brendan and Kelly' threads. The 'Greytops: Everything SCD' is a really good thread because it puts up links to the dances on YouTube.

Exactly! I have a look at the ITT thread, and the topical threads of the day.

Brendans thread, ITT thread, kelly and brendan and possibly most popular thread!

Any new shortish ones. The fan ones are SERIOUSLY long and often require a level of "fan-ness" way above my own interest. I'm sure they're fun if you're in on them from the beginning, but otherwise, I generally haven't got a clue what they're going on about!

Threads I've taken part in with new replies that have managed to stay on the first page, the Gethin thread, and then anything new that looks interesting.

If you read the description at the top it says "Discuss the BBC's popular ballroom dance series and It Takes Two here" Note the word "series". Nowhere does it say we are restricted to the current programme - SCD5. All the people you mention above have been in previous series and may well appear again in the Christmas Special. Karen Hardy is still appearing every week in the professional dances and is the BBC's correspondent for SCD every Monday. So the fact that these people are no longer actually in the competition is immaterial IMHO. If people still want to talk about them, there is nothing in the description of the forum to prevent them.

We are only saying which ones we don't read and why.

I have been finding it harder and harder to find threads that pull me in and make me want to read and post. I am now sometimes drawn in because I notice that a certain poster, who seems lively and interesting, has posted. There are some people who always bring a kind of flair to what they write and so I will read a thread if I see that they have posted.

I have no problem with anyone who wants to start or post in threads about things that interest them whether it is pink and fluffy or has to do with people who are no longer in the present series. I think there should be room for everyone. But sadly there are a few people who sometimes jump on anyone from a great height if they think something is 'provocative'...as if that was the worst thing one could ever be!...and then things get heated and interesting threads get pulled.

I'm drawn to Planet Waite yet don't post there, I wanted to be a bigger fan of him and Penny than I was. read the ITT thread, you know you're a strictly fan, GMR and the Vincent thread.

THis thread too but will soon get bored and stop if it becomes an argument about fan threads!

Always ITT, Greytop, the polls, the stats, Gethin, predictions, music, and any that seem very active. I used to avoid loads, but then I had a quick look at the Thread for Lazy Journalists, thinking it was a whinging thread, and couldn't believe how funny it was - so now I try not to assume I know what a thread is going to be like till I've read it.

Last year, there were lots more threads that were like interrupting someone's private conversation, but I don't think it's like that this year. It's really friendly, some people are incredibly funny and it's a great place to vent all those obsessional feelings your family really don't want to know about!

I always like to check in on the Anton lovers, then it's over to anything that seems interesting or that I've replied to before. Out of laziness I sometimes let threads 'build up' for a few days before checking them again, but then I get daunted by the number of replies to catch up on.

Whatever takes my fancy really...which generally does not include anything AT-ish because that's usually an indigestible combination of obsequious and/or pervy.

Mind you, the ATs or quasi-ATs in here are nowhere near as bad as the BB forum.

I go to any threads which look like there's a good row going on, anything that looks funny, and then finish with something obsequious and pervy!
