We don't seem to get a lot of them unless you post your thoughts on the BBC's correspondent for SCD.

I look at all of them if I have time....most of them on just a lurking basis as they are a bit scary

The first year I joined, I had to read every post on every thread () - I think the forum was less busy then (Series 3). It was around the time when the forum began to be mentioned on ITT and was "discovered" by all lot more people.

But coming back here every year, a lot of the same topics get discussed so I don't find it necessary to read every thread anymore. Also, Series 2 and 3 were my favourite so I was a bit more obsessed then!

I like the Lazy Journalists and Bridget Jones ones, and any controversial one as I prefer debate to the fan threads. I tend to look at the polls as well, and sometimes play the elimination games. I read a lot more than I post.

Excuse my ignorance and you're all probably going to laugh but what is AT please

LOL ~ are you me?! This is exactly my take on it ~ I used to read everything, but now I can barely skim the surface. But as you say, there's a lot of re-treading, so I don't feel I'm missing out on to much.

And 2 & 3 were the best in my book too

Team Cutler, Matt and Alesha first.

Then usually the polls, ITT thread and any new threads that look interesting. I also make fairly regular lurks in Planet Waite, Vincent AT, the thread for lazy journalists and Bridget Jones.

I often have a lurk in the gethin thread, the ITT thread and do the polls, plus read anything that looks interesting.

John and Nicole first - Alesha and Matt next, then the other celebs and I posted in Penny and Ian's thread when they left last week.

Then the Kate threads, just to see if the bandwagon has lost enough speed to see the end of the sympathy vote.

During the week the ITT thread first. At weekends the Saturday and Sunday show threads, with the spoiler thread between. Otherwise whatever one whose title catches my eye. I've never felt inclined to go into any fan threads, past or present.

ETA: Actually that's not true. I remember now I posted in the CRH one last year.

In particular order:

+ ITT discussion thread
+ Greytops
+ Some new threads (if interesting)
+ Sometimes fans threads, like Team Cutlers, Matt&Flavia, Gethin Jones, Penny and Ian's () etc..

Lastly, my own screencaps thread to post the link to the ITT screencaps!

ITT discussion thread.
Any new threads that look interesting.
On Friday eve the DWTS thread
On Saturday eve the one relating to that Sat's show.
On Sunday eve the one relating to the results show.
On Mondays the most liked & disliked couple - & I vote.
If there is one about the dresses/costumes I'll read that.
I try to avoid the appreciation/dislike threads as I find them either too cliquey or too nasty imo.

Someone has just reminded me that I forgot to say in my post on a Sunday Morning I go straight for the Results Spoiler thread

Reading this thread led me to the Greytops thread for the first time. This got me thinking, would it be a good idea to have a Readers' Digest to say what threads contain what material (thread titles often being uninformative)? Not all threads, just a quick synopsis of good threads, and the venomous threads to beware of.

Is LazySusan too lazy to consider this idea?

I never read any fan threads, simply too many, yet you never know if there is a nugget of value somewhere, e.g. info, wit, slapstick..... I am sad enough to be here reading and posting when I ought to be chasing women and having my way with them.

Regularly I visit the James' thread, GMR, Letita and Darren, Vincent and Karen's thread - and others which grab my interest

I always head for GMR , then the ITT discussion thread and if i'm feeling brave enough may venture into other threads too

GMR and Muttler threads as priority, then whatever takes my fancy... if nothing does sometimes I'll just check those ones and mark the whole forum as read. Often the screencaps and Greytop's for obvious reasons, great places to have a browse through the latest news etc! And to find links to maltipom's handiwork

I mainly lurk on all the appreciation threads except the Ballroom Bill and Anton Lovers threads. I also like the Greytops Everything SCD thread, the ITT discussion thread and the Results show spoiler thread.

Me too, excepting most of the fawning and salacious stuff. One or two of the threads are so sickly sweet, they're vomit inducing and so are avoided like the Bubonic Plague.

When I joined in March, it was primarily the GMR thread because the ladies there knew their cricket and a few of them are wickedly amusing (like you Mel G).

Now, it's the polls (good for number crunching), ITT, Alesha and Matthew (can never have enough of Alesha), Saturday/Sunday show threads and if I see a message posted by a select few posters I will read it - they always tend to post stuff that perks my interest.

I go into the ones about my future husband, to clarify that's Gethin , then I'll have a look at the least favourite poll and anything interesting or new. Aah love working it's like being paid to read forums.
