I started posting in Dec last year which makes me feel a bit of a newbie still. I did lurk for a bit as well before taking the plunge

I started because I needed an outlet where people were as strictly barking as me

I joined DS in 2002, but didn't get into SCD until 2004. I think this is the best series that I have watched, so many nice celebs and quite a few in with a chance of winning...add to that the judges having the final say on the bottom two is a plus for me.I am not saying they always get it right, but I trust they know more about the dance than your average joe public.

Since about half way through series 2.

I'd enjoyed series 1 but my love for the Aled/Lilia partnership is what really got me into it.

Well DS I've been visiting since Summer 2003 IIRC...although I lurked for a long time and didn't join until a year later.

For Strictly 1 and 2 I was more of a casual viewer so I guess I didn't post much (if at all) in this particular forum until Autumn 2005.

I've been an avid SCD fan since series one, but I didn't discover DS until May of this year (during Any Dream Will Do ), so it wasn't until then that I found the SCD forum here. I have been a permanent resident on the Team Cutler thread since.

I started in the Church of Aisleyne, and then went abroad, so this SCD is my proper return to the forums, as I have now returned to the country.

I used to periodically lurk here after SCD4 just to ease the withdrawal symptoms, but it was only at the beginning of this series that I took the plunge and actually joined so that I'd have a place to go on about Strictly without annoying the family even further.

I joined in December last year. I mainly lurk, since whatever I want to say has usually already been said.

I've used forums since I was 13 but have only come on here recently just before this series started and I'm not 17.

I've visited and read DS generally for about 4 years (BB started me off); but I've only recently posted on here. I've been a forumite elsewhere for quite a while but it's nice to come here and talk about the shows I love so much with like-minded folk!

What is it about that girl.......The only Big Brother contestant I have ever cared about. A complex housemate with an even more complex persona... but she has what Simon Cowell would call "the X- factor"(apologies for mentioning that word on this forum).......I joined the C4 BB forum in 2006 in order to defend her honour....I then discovered DS. I was a lurker for last years SCD but only started to post this year.I started to watch SCD during series 3

Dunno. I loved her too...but don't know why...

However, I have loved DS for a while.

I looked at these forums during Series 2, and it was *so* quiet you wouldn't believe it. I swear. I gave up and found other forums instead.

Come Series 3 it all went nuts and I wondered to myself "Where did all you people come from?".

I started posting on other Strictly forums near the end of Series 1. I joined here a couple of years ago and post on off. I still post on other forums but not as much as I used to....most of them have kind of died now as everyone uses ds instead.

Series 3 was great, we had loads of fun on here, sometimes we posted into the wee small hours just having fun. It kind of dropped off for me after that and this time it is just plain boring.
Too many threads just popping up all covering the same subject and so much aggression. self opinionated people not prepared to allow differences of opinion without a fight and a lot of bad language semi hidden with *****s.
