The Mathis is in 3 time so unless they have really changed the timing on it, and are shoehorning a waltz into other of the other (not 3 time) songs (which is, admittedly, possible on previous showing!) then it's going to be the waltz.

I think Johnny Mathis is definitely Waltz as it's the only song in Waltz tempo. Therefore I think Lost is definitely rumba. Take your pick with the rest though!! They could use Chuck Berry for QS so I'm not even convinced that's Jive! (Although I'm sure it must be!!)

Although couldn't 'somebody told me' be used for a Jive? I'm sure it's quick enough

Didn't Kenny and Ola dance to take me Out by Franz Ferdinand for their Paso?

Yes, that might be another mistype (like when they put Take Me Out twice and left another song off the list).

given that there is only 8 couples and 9 songs i'd take a good guess that take me out was just left on there by mistake.

Possibly, but I think it'd be a little strange, given the mood of the song. Unless, of course Brendan and Kelly have a very dramatic jive lined up, which I suppose is perfectly possible with those two!

There's one song too many , so guess they boobed again!!

Could be a quickstep too I guess

That could be quite apt considering she's likely to murder the dance (although I have to say her training didn't look too bad yesterday)

Sorry I'm a bit slow because I don't know much about beats, etc. Is it:

So Kate (paso), Kenny (cha cha) and Letitia (foxtrot) not sure? Would 'Is You Is...' have to be a foxtrot?

Don't know about "have to be" but it sounds like a potential foxtrot to me - 4 time, slowish... no expert though! ("Call Me" sounds foxtrot-esque too)

(I could tell you the time signatures - but don't know enough about the dances!!)

I would say 'lost' is definitely rumba. 'A Time For Us' is definitely Waltz and 'Call me irresponsible' is definitely foxtrot.

HOWEVER the rest are not certain, with all of them potentially being used for more than one dance. I'm guessing Chuck Berry is probably Jive though!

Got no idea what the BB King track sounds like and guessing it is slightly different tempo to the one on an above clip (I say this because I'm sure 'Call me irresonsible' has to surely be Foxtrot), so that could maybe help if anyone can find the BB King version!

I'm guessing that 'Dance with Me' is the tango now I've listened to it. It is a tribute (ie theft) of a song from the 'Pyjama Game' which makes it a brilliant choice because it will sound familiar to people my mother's generation and sound contemporary and it will sound like 'tango music'.

"Call me irresponsible" Matt and Alesha perhaps for their waltz?

Somebody Told Me - possibly a Paso? It's an aggressive song, which fits, although I couldn't see Kate coping with it in a million years, especially the pace of it

Yup, it is fun trying to work it all out

Hernando's Hideaway! I thought I'd heard it before! Yeah, I'd go with that being the Tango then, and then maybe "Somebody Told Me" as the Paso.

Not unless they crowbar it into 3 time. The Mathis is much more likely IMO.

That BB King clip is a bit faster than the Buble version of "Irresponsible" I think.

It must be the song for A&M's waltz - dreamy yet intense, poignant but beautifully floaty... perfect!
