Sony KDL-20S3000
Sony have never branded a TV set yet - so it's a genuine Sony set.

As for HDCP, the set is 'HD Ready', to meet that requirement it needs to meet HDCP requirements - why did you think it doesn't?.

to be honest i was checking the spec against a couple of others i.e. sharp aquos and samsung and with these compare sites they dont seem to fill in all the boxes so it just sowed the seeds of doubt that it might not be what it seemed thanks for clearing up the branding issue for me. is the kdl 20s3000u their latest model then ?
