Home Theatre connection help
Hi everyone
Long time lurker and first time poster. I have been given a Sony DAV-S800 Home Theatre kit. I want to connect this to my relatively new and out of date Grundig TV as well as my ex Telewest box. My TV has 2 scart inputs along with what seem to pointless serial port and modem connection and 2 common interface slots. The DAV has video out S Video and yellow 'phono', whilst input 1 is the red white and yellow 'phono' with video 2 is the 3 phono again and optical connection. I was kinda hoping it was going to be simple but tbh I am at loss of what type of leads i need and to go where. Any links to buy correct leads would be appreciated. I googled for SVid to Scart and there seems to be loads and are some directional ? I also have a VCR which she would like to still be connected if possible. I am a complete newbie to home cinema and I was going to look at buying next year along with a TV package. But who could turn down a free one ? Many thanks for any help i get. Mark |

Something like this would work for the sony
http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catal...roducts_id=588 As for the vcr, connect it through the telewest box(tv out on vcr to recorder scart on the telewest box),then the telewest box to the other scart on the tv.The telewest box will route the vcr signal on to the tv when you play something. |
