Is there such a thing as a junction box for 3.5mm audio cables?

Hi all,

Is there such a thing as a junction box for 3.5mm audio cables?

The reason I ask is that my hi-fi unit has an auxiliary input which is a 3.5mm socket (the same as a small headphone socket found on walkman's, iPod's etc).

I have at least 4 inputs that I would ideally like to connect to the hi-fi all at the same time to avoid swapping round cables all the time and the associated wear and tear not only on the cables, but also on the hi-fi's socket.

I've tried using 3.5mm splitter cables but experienced signal loss.

Is there such a thing as a mixer box, either switched or automatic, that would do the job?

Thanks,

Steve.

Yes, well there was! Lectropaks use to do them, try their website, and also try Keene.
