After all the hype/advertising over Rustlers burgers I decided to try one yesterday. How dissapointing. It didnt come with any sauce/cheese and was basically really bloody horrible.

I much prefer Rustlers and wont be buying feasters again!

Its quick and easy to make a burger yourself! At least you know what in it, not some dog run over the night before

They are bloody horrible. I blame students for keeping them in production, along with tesco value mince and onion pies (4pk).

I take it you meant Feasters in that first line for it to make any sense.

The Festers ones are sold in Chavsda aren't they? Whereas the Rustlers ones are found in Tossco.

I quite like the microwave rib things that my local corner shop sells though.

Marks and Sparks do a fabulous burger in a box now, it is HUGE (the burger is almost an inch thick) but you have to cook it in a proper oven (not a microwave) for about 15 mins.

They all look hideous & I doubt they resemble the picture on the packaging once nuked in the m/w for 2 minutes.

I'd rather eat the plastic container.

I tried Feasters as they were going cheap-I don't think I've ever eaten something with so much gristle in it.

Rustlers are much better.

If you're in a hurry, the Rustlers ones are just about passable. Although, I only stick the actual burger in the microwave and toast the bun seperate....

The Feasters ones are awful. As Cjw said, it's just full of gristle. Very nasty. For some reason our Local Sainsbury's have stopped selling the Rustlers ones in favours for Feasters.

Still, if you want a burger, then just buy some fresh ones and stick it under a grill for 15 mins. Much better.

I meant to say FEASTERS in my first post.

Yes everywhere, even my local Morrisons seems to be "featuring" the Feasters range, when in fact they are utter utter shite and shouldnt be consumed by even the most hungry mouse whos not eaten for a week and needs the energy to escape a big cat.

My opinion is that whoever makes Feasters has spent so much money on promotion and advertising that they are having to employ cheap labour in the form of trained labradors to do the cooking and the outcome is a really really nasty bugger.

While on the other hand Rustlers dont advertise much and obviously are getting advice from Gordon Ramsey as they are very nice.

If they had roadkill ingredients (fox aside) I might be tempted, but the op's snack choice is definitely minging.

The adjective "feasty" actually put me off buying these. It just doesnt make me want to eat them.

Love Rustlers though
