Hi,

I'm new to this site and wondered if there is anyone out there who could tel me (approx) what weight you would be to fit (comfortably) in to a size 18 at 5' 5??

Over the past few years i've been right down to a 12 and a few months ago was heading towards a 24 but am now just in to a (tight) size 20.

I've decided to head for a size 18 and try to maintain that weight before losing any more.

I am going to weightwatchers but I won't be aloud to be a 'Gold' member if I don't go down to 10'10 or lower . .

is there anyone out there who has has this problem? Sorry to go down the 'weight' issue road!!

Erm, why don't you weigh yourself and see what clothes size you are? - that might help. I don't think many people are willing to convey their trueweights and heights - even on the anonymity of t'internet.

Hi, i'm a 16-18 and weigh 13st 3lb. I'm also 5ft 5

To be honest, what size i am depends on where i buy my clothes. For example, Dorothy Perkins size 16 trousers fit perfectly but if i bought Next size 16 i wouldn't get them above the thighs

I also struggle to get trousers/jeans etc in a short leg.

PM me if you need any more info.

you'd do pretty well if you bought a pair of size 18 jeans to see physically how far off you are...then you can also see your progress as you start to fit into them. It's very encouraging.

next are awful with sizing. My size 8 friend was in tears when she had to buy a 12.
