Hey everyone - what a great thread! Love it.

For me, the dances I have LOVED have been Louisa & Vincent's jive - and their Paso Doble from last season - and American Smoothwise - nothing I've seen has matched Matt & Lilia's from last year - as well as being technically fab, it just had a fantastic feeling to it - I could use that overused word 'connection'! probably why Louisa & Vincent's dances were always pretty special as well. Am a bit of a late-comer to strictly, so didn't see series one, or much of series 2 though.

I can't remember much from the last few series but Jill's Jive and Denise's Samba were two definitive dances imo.

I know I always compare everyone to these two and no one ever comes near them.

As for Zoe's Tango, isn't that the one were you could have driven a train between them they were so far apart? or am I thinking of something else?

It was, as I recall. Which was a shame because besides that it was a remarkable and dramatic tango (I think this might have been part of the rot setting in in terms of the public feeling the judges weren't marking dances correctly). Besides that it was fantastic, and Zoe looked amazing.

Which was the dance where Colin danced to Me and My Shadow? I liked that one.
Otherwise pretty much agree with the other choices.

Colin Jackson's Rumba & AS and Mark's Argentine Tango is all I can recall from previous series. (I didn't watch series 1 & 2 very closely so it doesn't count)
