Cole Porter songs and 'pennies from heaven' in the pro dance.

I love all that and got all nostalgic at that saturday and sunday entertainment in 2007 was filled with songs of these old masters.

I'm too old.

Edit: and Burt Bacarah too...love it. True music.

I'm still at school but love hearing the old music, as I'm not a huge fan of modern music. All the songs on SCD are making it onto my iPod!

I actually (most of the time) enjoy the mixture of old and new and loads of different genres

I get to the stage now where I am out and about, I hear a song and picture the celeb and partner dancing to it.

I've now got to the stage where a song will come on the radio and actually try to recreate the dance. Oh yes that has caused a few breakages in the kitchen while I'm trying to wash the dishes. I really need to get out more

I was raised listening to Sinatra, Tony B and Ella Fitzgerald to name but a few - hated it Now I love their music and I am not an old bag - neither are you- musical taste is subjective - each to their own Like the tango I love it when they dance to traditonal music same with the paso

I do that all the time, I was doing the VW to Piano Man the other day round the kitchen, and was laying in bed doing M&Fs jive last week when Shake Rattle & Roll came on the radio

I love the old songs (even though I'm not sooooo old - ahem!). I really enjoyed the song that Alesha and Matthew danced so beautifully to last night (the old Simon Bates 'Our Tune' theme) so I've uploaded a version of it (the Johnny Mathis version) it for anyone who wants a copy.
