I know I have grade 8 flute but I have to say I'm rubbish at the oral part of the exam. Much better at playing. I scraped through the orals. I'm also not that great a dancer so while I agree it can give a slight advantage not convinced it's any more than Kenny's strengths in coordination and stamina.
