Tiscali Free Line Rental

Hi there,
has anyone managed to get Free Line Rental from Tiscali? I supposedly upgraded to 2Mb, Free Weekend Calls and Free Line Rental for 14.99 several months ago. My broadband has been changed to 2Mb and I'm being charged 14.99, but I'm still being charged by BT for line rental. I have tried emailing Tiscali support who just tell me to ring support. Then when you ring support, they tell you to ring another number that just goes back to the queue for tech support again. (I'm sure that monkeys could do a better job than Tiscali support).
I tried to reply to the email message saying that I had been upgraded, but the email bounced back as undeliverable. When I tried to report the bad email address, support just said I should not have received the email, it was sent to me by mistake!

Are you sure you're not in the 48% of the country in which the offer is not available?

Well I don't know. If only someone at Tiscali would tell me instead of just ignoring my requests. I was able to apply for the service. I also waited until I received a message telling me that it was now available before applying. You would have thought that if it was not available for my phone line that I would not be able to apply for it. If I have managed to apply for it in error, why doesn't someone at Tiscali have the decency to tell me so?

Tiscali are poor for customer service. I was with them for nearly 4 years on a dial up package after they tane over the LineOne service and was with them for there free weekend calls phone service for just over a year. They dont want to help you at times via email they want you to call then so it costs you the price of the call. Im glade I moved everything from Tiscali back to BT nearly 19 months ago when I upgraded to broadband.

I moved away from Tiscali just 2 and a half years ago, because of their appalling customer services. Never regreted it for a moment.

I'd never recommend anyone to touch Tiscali - they are the pits!
