I don't think it would work logisitically or financially to get everyone back even for a short live segment on the SUnday though. It wouldn't be fair to eat into a day's training or a day of rest for those who are through to the next round.

I don't think it's filmed at all in the order that we see it - some of those costume changes and the make-up etc would be too time consuming to do twice on one night.

I think some of what we saw even on the "live" shows in previous years was actually pre-recorded before the show started broadcasting. I can't imagine them changing costumes more often than was necessary.
