I've just read the link post with the answer (Debelah Morgan's Dance With me) .... as I was racking my brains to remember as well.

Some years ago I was a regular line dancer + there was a brilliant line dance to the Debelah Morgan track.

In fact, the steps (of the line dance) were very jerky + much more Tango inspired.

I was not overly impressed by John Barnes' dance -- but I think that comes down to the choreography .... and that music is MUCH more suited to a passionate Tango than a Paso !!!

IMHO ....

Well elsewhere I have seen it referred to as a Paso Doble.

AND .... on the separate thread (which is linked above) it is referred to as "John Barnes' Paso Doble".

On the BBC website it says tango
http://www.bbc.co.uk/strictlycomedan...17/50812.shtml

"John and Nicole took to the floor next, dancing a Tango to Dance With Me. 'Your strength is in your Latin dances, but as a ballroom dancer that was your best attempt,' said Len. 'I felt nothing when you did this dance,' said Bruno. 'The rhythm is always there but for me it lacked drama and real style,' said Craig."
