I'm voting for Aldi as they always seem to contain 68% or more meat.
When you grill or fry them they don't shrink either.

I couldn't say really, as I buy my sausages from butchers or farmers markets ... Pork and Apple,
Pork and Stilton and Mediterranean Lamb sauages are amazing
However, I've recently noticed the new "Truly Irresistible" at CO-Op range have some sausages out, which look quite good. I may give them a try

ASDA do a nice premium range as do Sainsbury's. Looking forward to the Good Food Show next week as they normally have a load of weird Sausage sellers.

The premium range at Asda is very good. They only contain pork shoulder and pork belly at have a meat content of 80%. They're on a long-term price offer of 3 for £6 (six sausages in each pack) and there are quite a few different varieties.

I haven't eaten any sausages from anywhere since I heard the delightful term, 'connective tissue' on Gordon Ramsay.

I'm not normally squeamish about food but 'connective tissue'.

I agree, they're the only sausages I've ever liked, none of those hard bits that you get in the cheaper ones!

I only ever buy sausages that have at least 85% meat content. M&S chippolatas are 97% meat. Apart from the meat content, I'm not fussy which supermarket they come from.

1% connective tissue is too much connective tissue for me.

I think that just means tendons and sinews and bits like that.

I love The Black Farmer sausages, you can get them in Sainsbury's. And yes he's black and he was on the telly last year too.

Ginger McKeith says that you shouldn't eat sausages, but if you must - then only those with at least 90% meat.

Check out the Black Farmer's sausages. Really nice!

I saw his TV series about trying to get black and Asian inner city kids into farming. .....There was a particularly unsettling bit when the kids went into the local town centre and the locals looked like martians had just landed.

Unbelievably, he is (or was) the ONLY black farmer in Britain.

What do you mean too much telly?

Any Co-op in Norfolk & Suffolk that sells Crasks Sausage this is the best tasting sausage around the meat is of that good quality you can undercook it without the fear of food poisoning. These sausages are also pretty low in fat and don't shrivle up when cooked.
