Cordless Range
Looking at options to get phone access in my cabin about 30m from the house ... anyone recommend a phone that works effectively at this type of range?

Unless the walls to your house or cabin are metres thick, I'd have thought that any DECT base station, sensibly sited, would work (they all now appear to boast of ranges of 300 metres in clear air and 50 metres indoors).

I have a friend who has an old cottage with very thick walls, and they have Panasonics withn a Panasonic relay unit - they've got a big garden and the combination of the Panasonic phones and the Panasonic relay gets reception everywhere. |

I now use a Panasonic DECT phone which is far superior in both build quality and working range than my previous phone ( BT DECT ), which after three months ended up with a range of 4-5 metres.
