My brother has the above TV, its started experiencing problems. A part of the screen has started to go blurred.

I was wondering if someone has any advice on how to fix this as no settings is changing anything.

Well having googled the number, I see it's a CRT rear projection set - what do you mean by 'blurred', it's not a very helpful description?.

Under 'blurred' I would suggest dirty optics, or possibly convergence problems? - I understand from others in the trade that Samsung rear projectors have massive problems with failure of their big convergence power IC's.
