Virgin Network
I'm thinking of moving over to Virgin from Orange and buying a new mobile phone ( Nokia payg) as well.
The tariffs look really good and competitive, however an article from : http://www.telecomtv.com/newComms.php?cd_id=2173 states: Virgin Mobile is a “virtual” operator in that it does not have its own base stations, masts or any other hardware infrastructure. Instead it relies on the T-Mobile network to provide the actual physical service to its 2.4 million subscribers The rest of the article is positive but I'm a bit put off by it being a "virtual" network and the fact that it may not last as long as the other networks. What does everyone else think? Cheers |
