Sony HXD870 to DVD to Australia

I've recorded a TV history programme onto a DVD-R that I've finalised.
If I send it to a relative in Australia will she be able to view it - either using a DVD player or a PC with DVD drive?
Thanks,
Dave

Yes. A home-recorded DVD has no region protection, and Australia uses the same 625-line standards as the UK. You can transfer DVDs in both directions.
