Digital Spy - Thanks for the spoiler!
Just wanted to say cheers for putting the headline up at the top about the result. Saves watching the final on Friday on UK Gold then

![]() Hi Can you do me a favour and write to DS, the more people that writeto them the more people can show they are annoyed about this. I have just written via the Contact Us at top the following: I have been a reader of Digital Spy for quite a few years now and I realise that you are a source of entertainment information - for the UK.May I say how disappointed I am that on the first page today you have announced "Mel B comes second in 'Dancing' final". This is fantastic news and I would have like to have waited till it was at least broadcasted in the UK on Friday evening before it hit the front page. Should it be normal practise to post something on a UK website the results of a programme that will ultimately 3 days later be broadcast. DS does this with X Factor and posts the results the same night I can live with that as I know not look at DS till I have watched it the following day but you have made this one impossible. Thanks once again...

Lol...the article has now changed and has a spoiler alert. And the headline now reads "Winner Revealed".
Thanks for listening DS. Shame it was too late for me though. Oh well

I take it none of you watch the news? Seen result on news this morning on BBC. Must say she can dance better than she can sing.

Unfortunately it seems like you'd have to hide away for three days if you really wanted to watch it on Friday without knowing the result.
I know others have a different point of view, but knowing the result won't stop me enjoying it on Friday. I'm just disappointed it's all come to an end so quickly!! |

This is exactly why I avoided this forum until after I had watched the results show.

The result was announced on BBC Breakfast News and also mentioned on gmtv plus other progs so it was bit difficult not to know the result - spoilers or not!

I don't watch morning TV so had managed to avoid all that. But I now know that it was in all the papers and such. So yes, we would have had to have been deaf and blind not to know. Reminds me of the old Likely Lads episode where they are trying not to find out an England football result because they want to watch it on Match of the Day. Oh well, should still be a good watch anyway

It's a shame you've been spoiled, and I guess the only reason is because it involved Mel B.
But I can assure you it is still worth watching. ![]() I accidentally found out the winner of the last series before it had been shown on the BBC during the Summer, and I was a bit fed-up at first, but the Final was still very exciting as I didn't know the ins and outs of what happened and hadn't seen the performances.

Incredibly, I managed to avoid any spoilers!!
![]() But that meant staying away from here most of the week and because I haven't the time to watch morning tv, I was able to watch the finale on UKTV Gold unspoiled!! ![]() It was great and exciting!! My favourite couple lost but I still enjoyed every minute of this series. |

I really enjoyed the final (despite knowing the result beforehand!)
I liked the idea of all three finalists dancing their freestyle dance and then eliminating the couple in third place. They must all put a lot of work into those routines and it is always a shame - on Strictly - that one couple doesn't get the opportunity to dance it. I have to say though, that I thought one of the freestyle dances was dire - truly dire! |
