New idea, and I don't know if it'll work, but let's give it a go .. it'll keep us amused until song choices are announced.

This will be serial fiction.. featuring Rhydian.

I'll start it off and write a few sentences about our hero. Someone else will then do the same, etc, etc.

Only prob is, it will get a bit chaotic unless we literally have an order.

Me and Penny started a Rhydian story earlier (well, quite a conflicting one ) but everyone ignored it so we stopped .

Fearsome screams from around them as they heard the siren song. A change in the wind? Who knows. The Darkness beaten by the light as all powers of the voice enveloped the evils. Louis Walsh pained as the powers of good defeated him. Oh scream beckon and fall...

Rhydian took a tentative pace forward as he heard the man with the loud voice say "RRRRRRHHHHHYYYYYDDDIIIIIAAAANNN"

He hesitated. He'd forgotten what he was supposed to sing.

Then he exploded into song... An eagle soared over and silenced Louis Walsh and his Fish Cake Army. Sharonia of Osbournak feared the ned as Rhydian empowered with music roared out heavenly sounds that entranced the 25 pound plus booking fee paying audience.

Rhydian continued to soar over the crowd. He was in his element ..

Meanwhile, Simon Smirk looked on aghast. He had carefully chosen from what he thought were the best solo singers 3 groups to manage, Bolokes, Incest and Hookers whom was convinced were world-beaters. He listened mesmerised as Rhydian seduced the audience with his velvet tones.

Simon entranced fell into another money driven dream where cash tills are ringing and credit cards are swiping. Such was the excitement his trousers rose a little higher and higher at the prospect of the money in this. They had never risen this high for Shane or Leona - but Rhydian was a master in a league of his own.

Mean while Simon had not noticed that his trouser had risen he was not interested in his clothes anymore he was mesmerised by the prospect of the cash flowing in from Rhydians next album.

Rhydian had tried to remain quiet and sensible throughout hsi interview with Simon. Siomn was not making sense he was talking about cash Rhydian wanted to know which song he was going to sing and said he had to go andn wold SC please hurry up. Is this a dream or am I really here? Rhydian realised that it was th e sound not of cash but of the tinkling of bells which had been part of the backing gfor his song. His voice mesmerised the audience, his hair was floating.

Sharon was beginning to feel the effect of the ten bottles of gin and (one) tonic she'd downed before the programme started. Between the alcoholic fuzz, she realised that on stage there was a god. She watched him strut around, muscles rippling, shirt at danger of ripping. She began to feel hot and fantasised about Rhydian being hers, in her power, where she wanted, doing what she wanted him to do .. Suddenly she realised that it was quiet. Rhydian had stopped singing and everyone was waiting for her to say something.

She pulled herself together with difficulty.

"You strange boy.

"Show us your chest .."

Voice Over Man was struggling... He couldn't announce Deadlock. Deadlock... a monstrous being. Fearfully awoken. Hidden from all.

and then Voice Over Man realised that the velvet tones of the man on stage had somehow hypopotomous oh can't spell hypnotysed him into somehow giving the wrong result.

Dermot jumped on stage, enthusiastic as ever, but he was confused.

Meanwhile, the Yorkshire Man and Scouser were making plans. The plan was detailed and required a 400 strong team of burly women to complete it.

It was to fight the dark forces of Marmite.

The land of spoons beckoned as the crowds cheered across the world. Rhydian was now rising and his name was beyond all evil, all potions, all sorcery that any being me bring forth.

Rhydian was pulled off stage as he heard the crowds cheer. Was that for me, he timidly asked, no, he was told, that was because Hope had just come on stage topless.

Rhydian returned to the cupboard that he had been given to live in by the xfactor producers. He felt like Harry Potter.

But the cupboard had a magical door. The magical door led to an enchanted place where the sounds of hope could not be heard snoring late into the night.
