I think it is a load of crap!
It is the bottom of the range sony and therefore crap! Its like buying a BMW 5 series and not being able to afford a nice engine and all the extras. I would really recommend looking at higher end models in cheaper brands. Like LG or Samsung. Go for a Golf GTI rather than an Audi A3 - Both the same price but the better brand isnt the better option. |

Actually I take back everything I said, the way the prices are looking at the moment the Sony 40S3000 is very good for the money, but I would much rather a 42" plasma like the LG 42PC56 for about the same money.

I would only buy W or X Sony no other! SD looks good, HD looks fantastic, I haven't noticed any motion blur, my laptop looks fantastic through VGA and the numerous consoles I have hooked up to it (all SD) look great too. The colours are sharp, it's bright, the viewing angle is excellent. So ...... what are you basing your "it's crap" statement on? You don't own one .... you own a Phillips! .... I'll take my bottom of the range 'crap' Sony over a Phillips every time thanks .... |

But .... you still haven't given any justification for your "anything but X or W series is crap" statement .... Back it up, or shut up. |
