Has anyone suceeded in loading any firmware onto a Digihome DTR0207? Is the DTR0207 firmware the same as a PVR80? Any help much appreciated as I'd like to at least record 2 programmes at the same time.

Hi, yes the firmware is exactly the same. I've updated three DTR0207 recorders in the last few weeks with the dual-record firmware. The box is identical to a PVR80 it just has a different model name and facia.

Just remember to delete as many channels as you can do without after updating it. This helps with the EPG issue that everyone gets after performing the update.

Yep worked ok, all updated now to twin record. One problem which I've found and read in forums is the slow regen of the channel guide. Have removed all unecessary channels but still very slow to build. Any other ways to speed things up without reverting back to single record (v5.3)?

No I don't think so - and if you revert I think you will have to install version 4.9 (on the twin-record download), not 5.3, but I don't think you'll see much difference.

I'm surprised you're still finding the EPG slow, are you sure you've been ruthless enough deleting channels? In any case, even before I got ruthless myself, I found the slow EPG worth putting up with for the sake of twin-record.
