I am not a fan of Same Difference either. They are too cheesy and I really don't think their singing is anything spectacular (so is usually hidden with stupid dance routines and gimmicks )
They should be on Saturday morning Children's TV not Saturday Night TV.
I know Louis talks garbage, but he has got it right (for once) when it comes to these 2.
I am certain if they were not in Simons category, he would be slating them too.

I get the distinct feeling if they weren't in Simon's category, he'd have made remarks so devastating (but honest) by now they'd have gone out long since.

He sees they have potential to be a sort of British 'High School Musical' thing, - the reedy thin (and off key) voices are clearly no impediment to that, as they'd be re-worked so heavily during recording anyway. Sort of inverse Leonas - she's marketed on her phenomenal voice, they are in a market where they don't need to be able to sing. Sharon was right when she said they seemed like something dreamt up by Michael Jackson.

And is it just me, or do they remind anyone else of the creepy brother and sister duo in the original 'Poseidon Adventure'? Hopefully, the rather scary pair will end up doing the cruise liners - if they're lucky.

I dunno how much more of the cutesy stamping up and down with excitement thing I can take. Simon himself said they were scary when he first met them - interesting how that's forgotten now he has to champion them.

Was interested to see they did the clubs before they got on the show as my dad worked the clubs for many years. They were the sort of act we'd turn to eachother and say *Shouldn't book them again*.

at the moment they're probably a double gloucester (hard but creamy and marginally sweet), but people are reacting as though they're a dairylea cheese slice.

His voice is passable - but only that. Hers is a mixture of loud squawking and fingernails down a blackboard. It was quite a relief she was only given a couple of solo lines on ADWD.

They also had A LOT of backing vocals last night - so much so that I wasn't sure I could hear their voices at all during WMUBYGG and anyway, I would have thought it would be nigh on impossible to sing properly at a high energy level with all the prancing, jumping up and down on beds, dancing with a floor full of wee willie winkies.

I do agree with you that it is a bit harsh to say you want to slap Sarah. I am only participating in this thread as I do not like SD - I'm sure they are lovely people, I just don't like their performances.

She has a very odd jawline like Cerys Matthews. Very angular. I could just about put up with them though if it weren't for all the skipping, facial expresions, puppy dog eyes and doing the "phone for us" signs. LOL how naff just like them

Well for me their expressions to each other and in general just are weird, and the smiles are creepy. That's just the way me and other see it.

I agree hate is too strong a word for them... after all they are only a cheesy X Factor act.

The happiness isn't a crime, it's just I'm sure Rydian etc are happy but they don't do that pathetic 'vote for me!' face after every performance and have all the OTT expressions, skipping etc I just find it too much.
