True! Glad a 'hater' can admit their mistake in this forum.

Peace out!

I'm not a fan of them really, but I've been reading through the comments and LiveForTheDream is right. Is it wrong to be that happy? They're doing something they love and they're entertaining so what's the harm in that? Leave them alone.

It's not my cup of tea for sure but I can still see that they are very dedicated and professional.

Cheesy is fine for their performances, I just really wish they would tone it down afterwards though. The puppy-dog faces they pull when they beg for votes actually makes me throw things at the tv and have murderous thoughts.

There is no harm, but the fact is not everyone finds them entertaining, so they have a right to dislike them.

Hmmm, the only act left in the show to have an unappreciation thread! Me think some supporters of the other semi finalists are getting a tad worried.....

Not from me. I would be surprised if they weren't in the final, they are obviously hugely popular. The thing is though that none of the semi-finalists have ever been in the bottom two (that's right, isn't it?) so there's no way of knowing how it will pan out. Which is good, makes for exciting viewing!!

Well - you are living in a "Land Of Make believe" if you think

a) they are going to win this years X Factor
b) will do a good job of singing this song

I think they have an "un appreciation" thread because this is an act that you either like or dislike. They definately have a market, I'm not denying that. For me it's like - Mr Blobby + The Teletubbies reaching Christmas number 1. Half the population were like "WTF???????", but people must have gone out and bought the record for it to be so successful in the charts in the first place.

Well the Allstars did a pretty good job. I think SD would do a good job.

Didn't realise it was such a dark song when I first heard the Bucks Fizz version. I am sure Sean and Sarah would tell a good story from it.

Nah, they aren't going to win, but coming second to Rhydian would be a great achievement for them.

Quite a few of the artists that got this far in previous years have ended up with a contract regardless of whether they win or not anyway and I doubt SD will be any different.

They have a perfect market and you may not fit into it. It's the young-uns and the gay-uns - the types that loved S-Club 7/8, Steps and Allstars.

Haven't Disney been rumoured to be interested in SD for promoting High School Musical 3 ?

Erm... I'm not young or gay, and I like those groups.

there is a place for SD in the charts today, there is no steps or s club anymore, they could easily take their place, just beacuse you do not like cheesy poppy music doesnt mean its crap, everyone is entitled to like what they want to!!!

I didn't say you *had* to be young or gay - but they have a huge following just from these "sectors".

(btw. it was a positive thing. eg you lot may not like SD but they have a following so they'll do well even if they go out)

Why are Sarahs shoulders constantly dislocated??

She's like the hunchback of Notre Dame and Anthea Turners love child.

Not from me either. I'm not supporting anyone, the reason there is an unappreciation thread is simple. They are the type of act that generate a considerate amount of dislike within people.

They won't even come second. Third is about the best they can hope for.

Well IMO it shows how nauseating they are... it doesn't do them ay favours for me and if ever I felt swayed enough to vote for them (not likely to happen) the sight of those faces would put that thought straight out the window!

In fact I know other people that could even put up with their performances, it's the aftermath i.e those faces that really put them off!

Me too. I usually detest that sort of thing, but these two are just so cute.

I'm not the violent type either but i'd love to knock their cheesy false smiles into the middle of next week!!!! I think the girl annoys me the most. The constant raising of her shoulders up to her ears and grinning like a cheshire cat - it really drives me up the wall. When I saw her skipping off the stage like a five year old on Saturday, well I cannot repeat what my comments were. GET THEM OFF MY TELLY NOW!!!!!

Well i'm glad I got that off my chest

I can't wait until they disappear to Butlins

But as you say each to their own... the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same people

LOL

Sarah annoys me the most too... the skipping, the dancing, the faces, her voice!
