Theme For Next Week
It looks like the contestants pick one song and a judge who is not their mentor picks another song. Could see some interesting choices next week.

Oh, that hadn't occured to me!
![]() So we should be expecting Sharon to give Rhydian 'Fit but you know it', Louis to choose 'Creep' for SD, Dannii to give Niki 'Anarchy in the UK'... |

As I stated before the choices from the other judges should be very interesting. I wonder who will get stitched up or will they really get songs that 'play to their strengths' as the judges like to say?
![]() Although I imagine that they'll be working under the orders of Commander Cowell - you could practically see his mind whirring away today, trying to work out how to manouvre things. |

I can see Leon getting something that seriously doesn't suit him.
I'd say they'd like to see him gone before the final. I'm sure Simon isn't thrilled about the prospect of Danni having two acts there. |

Louis will give SD a pop version of the John Cage piece '4:33'.

if I was a judge I would pick something completely out of comfort zone for all contestants.
ie; Nikki - Ruby - Kaiser Chiefs Same Difference - something by the White Stripes Leon - Sweet Child of Mine - G&R Rhydian - I wanna be sedated - Rammones |

Is this their attempt to make sure that one of Dannii's acts do not go through?

![]() You are sooo funny!!!! ![]() True, LOL. Simon chose soo many songs for everyone, it's a bit bothersome... Let's hope this week they really DO let contestants choose their own song. I wouldn't bet on it, though. In away, TBH, sometimes it's better someone chooses for them, as what they like might not be what the public likes. It's a double blade thing, free choice... |

No! They HAVE to do Fairytale of New York.
![]() I love that song .I really do. And it's suitable for them, as a duo. Not sure if it's suitable in the X Factor context...
