I'm all confused now and don't know who to vote for! I've decided I'm going to vote for my favourite dancer of the night and nothing else.

I thought Gethin was FANTASTIC in both of his dances (especially the salsa!) and should have been top of the leader board, and so far in the series I've not paid him that much attention.

Alesha was just ok in my opinion but I knew before she'd even started that the judges would go mad for it regardless. I wanted her to win up until last week but It's getting a bit boring, I couldn't even be bothered to finish watching her samba... For the record though, I do still love Matthew!

Matt was good, but he's irritating me more every minute. If he was with any other pro I don't think I'd consider voting for him at all but I think Flavia is sto fantastic that I can't bring myself to withdraw support!

Letitia I still think is boring to watch and just 'okay' but I'm starting to like her for how hard she's working and overcoming her fright. She's exactly like I was when I began learning ballroom and latin.

Kenny is the only one that I've not changed my opinion on. Him and Ola are adorable together, and he was so sweet in the rumba. Not a lot of dancing, granted, but I agree with Craig in that he told the story beautifully. And his foxtrot was his best (solo!) dance so far.

My order was:

Alesha & Matt
Matt & Flavia
Kenny & Ola
Gethin & Camilla
Letitia & Darren

My new order is:

Gethin & Camilla
Matt & Flavia
Alesha & Matt
Kenny & Ola
Letitia & Darren

You had the order right first time. Alesha has made the show and should win. Gethins freestyle Salsa would have been laughed off any professional stage.

Alesha hasn't had a good week, but I think she will bounce back (and probably win).

Gethin was great, but there is still room for improvement (I enjoyed his Latin, but it is still the weakest out of the top trio)

I thought Matt did fine tonight. I don't understand why his dancing leaves a lot of DS people cold (he might not be that endearing at times, but so what?)

Indeed. Matt's Salsa wiped the floor with Gethin's.

Whoa there tiger!!! I see where you're coming from. I agree that his routine was strangely lacking in Salsa and actually seemed more Samba and was also quite basic BUT he performed well and showed a lot of improvement. Perhaps a bit harsh here maybe??? (whilst technically being true!)

Gethin's salsa was really enjoyable and I thought he moved and performed a lot better so much kudos to him for that.

Alesha's samba was far more difficult than his dance however and I feel it right she got credit for that.

Yep, a bit harsh.

(I think Alesha can excel in both disciplines on a good day, but Matt sometimes struggles with Ballroom whereas Gethin find Latin difficult - I have no preference re the winner though; they've all been great)

Alesha & Matt just didn't gel in their samba in the way that they did in their cha cha; Alesha often looked lost and the whole thing was a bit disjointed (music was a handicap)

a bit harsh on Gethin, he was great tonight.
Alesha is my favourite but imo your doing her no favours by slating her main "rival".
I guess from now on all Gethin, Matt and Alesha fans are going to be slatting the celebs in the way of their favs winning which is a shame It makes this place so much worse when everyones so negative but i can understand it.

I prefer just to talk about the ones i like ... but thne thats just me.

It's true though. great improvement/peformance from Geth but come on he spent most of the time wiggling his hips and shoulders to the audience. anyone can do that.

Music was brilliant and really helped but it was nothing more than a camp disco dance.

To the people slating Gethin like his dancing is so much blah, try listening to Nicole's RBC tonight, both his Ballroom and Latin, she raved over him, and she should know.

La Rhumba, is there anywhere I can watch the clips with the RBC now?

Well I have to say Gethin's waltz has been my fav dance so far. It was great, lovely chemistry, this is Camilla's best partnership by miles. (And on a really crass level they look good together.)

Totally felt he was driving the dance ...so unusual with the male celebs ... like two people moving as one... it seemed so natural, fluid and unconstrained. Gorgeous.

May be but in the context of the evening where the rest seemed to be having more of a struggle, I feel it was marked correctly.

I do, however, think Alesha will win but Gethin could well be second if he keeps up the momentum.

I was disappointed with Matt and expected a lot more from him. He needs, like Alesha, to rein in the exuberance.

Matt is a nice young man and a good dancer with the lovely Flavia. But nerves get the better of him and he doesn't have the female follwing of the older welsh 'action man' Gethin.

Alesha and Gethin are now the obvious finalists but it is all to play for.

I don't like this whole 'l'm bored of Alesha' bandwagon all of DS seems to be jumping on.

Does she deserve this for being the best dancer and consistently good all series?

She is by far the contestant with the most pressure on her shoulders, mainly thanks to the judges and i feel sorry for her because of that.

People also need to bear in mind they are being judged for the dance they do, not in comparison to others that night.

I don't blame him at all for all the wiggling, especially his hips, cos what have the judges been going on about to many of the dancers all this time? Not enough hip wiggling!! So, of course, he wiggled And did I like it? I loved it

Alesha is far from Boring IMO!

She's now had her off week, and it was bound to come sometime. I have no doubt she'll come back next week and blow everyone out of the water.

I'm not jumping on any bandwagons! I feel how I feel. Alesha's still good, but it's getting boring. Matt's annoying me, Gethin's growing on me, I find Letitia boring as well and I still love Kenny!

I fail to see how someone being consistently good is boring! It seems to be a wierd thing in the British psyche - we do it with sportsmen too. Someone is brilliant and at the top of their game and instead of celebrating how good they are, people start saying they're 'boring' and wishing them to fail.

Personally, if someone else amazing comes through the ranks and topples someone off their perch, then excellent, that's exciting. Until then, I prefer to celebrate people who work their socks off and strive for excellence. Still, each to their own...

I find the Alesha and Matt partnership too hot and their dancing is even better and one week where they've been off will not put me off supporting them!

My order hasn't changed. I would rank the five as follows:-

Alesha and Matthew
Matt and Flavia
Gethin and Camilla
Letitia and Darren
Kenny and Ola

Who would I like to see in the final? - well obviously Alesha and Matt Di

Just a bit of Sunday afternoon ruminating, but who do I think will reach the final? - it will be 2 from Alesha/Matt/Gethin (no surprises here then).

And it is a right royal tussle between Matt and Gethin. Having achieved the high marks this week, Gethin will be the one under pressure to perform next week. His run-in has two latins - Paso and Jive which will be tricky for him (and I definitely don't see him getting 10's in either dance). He will obviously do well with his American Smooth. In the semi-final Gethin will have an Argentine Tango and either the Paso or Jive. I don't see exceptional dances in either from him and so he probably has the toughest route to the final.

Matt is inconsistent - he has Foxtrot, Waltz and Paso (I think). Wasn't able to build on his 38 last week and so handed the initiative back to Gethin. Though with the dances he has left he could overtake Gethin again. If he performs he could get 10's with either the Waltz or Foxtrot.

The only drawback for Matt is that his voter support is flaky and volatile. Gethin's may not be much greater but it seems more solid and permanent. I've posted before, but think Matt has the disadvantage of being a little too young, like Louisa last year. I think some see him as a tad immature and boyish in comparison with the more serious and 'substantial' Gethin.

As for Alesha, no surprises again, I think she is head and shoulders above either the two boys and can cope with more complicated choreography in more dances than either of them. She's a match for Gethin in the ballroom and a match for Matt in the Latin. I've been watching her Tango with the Red Button Commentary and think my initial assessment yesterday was under appreciative. This is now my favourite ballroom dance of hers and I've never been much of a fan of ballroom and thought Ballroom Tango, in particular, was an acquired taste.

IF she gets to the final, she has far more good dances in hand and has the greater ability, to beat anyone - she just has to perform on the night - which is easier said than done - so no absolute guarantees.

No doubt Matt and Gethin supporters will be thinking the same.

I agree, she is the only reason I am still watching it. She makes me laugh, is brilliant at dancing, she lights up the screen and make it looks so easy. She is a winner already in my eyes.
