Could his speaking voice be anymore hideous? You can literally hear him reading the sob story off a board behind the camera
I..... want....to.....be....in.....the....final *drone* :yawn::yawn: |

I hate the "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR THANK YOU LOUIS" we get every single week.
He's so dull. |

I..... want....to.....be....in.....the....final *drone* :yawn::yawn: To me, it was the same problem throughout his singing ...he alternated word shouting with gasps -again- and went off key. Second song was really dire. |

I don't think Dannii wants him to win as she's behind Rhydian.
Poor song choices for Leon this week which is a shame. |

Queen and The Beatles count as poor song choices?

Also his attempts to copy Shayne and Sharon's gestures. Really cringeworthy...

He's a paradox. There are hints of some great notes then more than hints of drunken karaoke. I think he's got promise but I still think he'd have been better applying in a couple of years. BUT, he seems to have taken Rhyd's confidence, which is weird.

You can't find any reason to criticise his singing voice this week, so you start on his speaking voice instead. :yawn:

He can sing fairly well but if they give him anything involving dancing his performances are shambolic IMO because they overshadow his vocals and he does not look comfortable with it. His dancing reminds me of Phillip from series 2. Remember his moves to Johny Be good?
In fairness, his performance of LWR without the dancing made him look a reasonable performer. Still, they are obviously searching for a second person to give us a competitive final and I think the judges have settled on him as the one to heap the praise on. He is better than Hope and SD and is on a par with Niki so still deserves to be there until the semis at least. |

I thought he was great last week. This week he was dire.
His speaking voice is a bit cringy I agree, but it's his singing voice that counts. |
