Super Multi Blue Player to end the confusion caused by the current competition between Blu-ray Disc and HD-DVD. Customers are no longer forced to choose between the two formats.

There are already a number of dual players out there but then the article is dated 11 months ago which would indicate that the LG and Sammy players on the market now are what they were talkign about.
The problem with the first gen LG was that it could not carry the HD DVD logo since it didn't meet the HD DVD criteria, this is been addressed for second gen products.

The problem of course is since the article was written HD DVD prices have fallen through the floor followed closely by the PS3 and Blu-ray players making the purchase of two machines cheaper than a dual player
