Why do they allow him to get so personal with the artists and Dannii ??

He is so biased against Simon and now Dannii it is ridiculous!

Why doesn't she retaliate and defend herself ?
She has ha 17 Top 30 hits in the UK alone and 13 Number ones in the UK Dance charts.

louis was being a prat the way he spoke to hope, but he had every right to say that to danni, she constantly slates the other acts vocals, when she herself cannot sing at all, she started the argument with louis and he came back with a very valid argument, besides its not like her act leon can sing at all!!!

louis is a very sucessfull manager so he knows talent when he see's it, unlike danni who only ever became famous because of her sister

But Louis, Simon and Sharon all comment on the vocals and none of them can sing a note. Although...Sharon is usually too busy spewing out some nonsense to actually comment on the vocals most weeks.

But Louis can't say Dannii has had no hit singles, he's talking out of his ass.

Hit singles maybe, dont think she has ever had a number 1 in the uk charts though (willing to be corrected and dance charts dont count ) and I think overall he album sales compared to many bands is piss poor, she's not talented, louis is a judge because he is a band manager, same with sharon, and simons a judge because he owns a record label and its his show, danni is just a c-list celebrity with poor vocals and way too much botox

But the contestants agreed to be on the show and to be judged. They knew they would get comments and knew that judges got personal at the contestants in order to win the competition themselves. Danni is a professional singer and once you've reached that level you dont make such public comments about other professionals unless you are z-list who wants the media.

I agree - Louis is unprofessional and always personal. Very immature for someone who has had the success that he has.

I hope he has apologised to her since Saturday. Even if he didn't mean it and it might of only been for entertainment value, it was still out of order IMO. You could tell even Simon thought so

I think you'll find that she became famous as a child entertainer in her own right. In fact, I think she was the more well-known of the two until Neighbours came along.

Danni offers constructive criticism - thats what she is there for! Whilst Louis, just gets nasty and personal with the other judges, namely Danni and Simon. He is a joke. At least Danni sang original songs, unlike Westlife who are famous for covers!

If Dannii is a C-list singer, Louis is a C-list manager and Sharon drops off the alphabet altogether.

Louis is good with dull Irish boy bands and that is it. I don't count X Factor or Popstars winners because they get a level of hype that nobody else ever gets before releasing anything. Even so, he couldn't do anything with Eton Road and he cut of all contact with Girls Aloud as soon as he could. As the boy band format doesn't really sell any more, Louis' knowledge is irrelevant which is probably why Eton Road never came to anything.

Sharon has never been succesful with anyone but her husband who was already a legendary musician.

Simon is a businessman with pound signs in his eyes and little musical knowledge but to give him credit, he is succesful at what he does

Westlife were already a big hit on the Smash Hits tour before he signed them.
Boyzone - he recreated an identi-kit version of an existing band (Take That).

This was all over 10 years ago. The height of “boy band” mania. He was in the right place at the right time. What has he achieved since? (N.B. Girls Aloud were selected by the public and he inherited them).

Louis hasn't "achieved" anything though has he? it's his acts that have sold the cd's, which make him rich enough to promote them on shows like the x-factor and to spout his verbal diarrhea.

I can't get over the turn-around about Hope. Saying they are as good as (better than?) the Spice girls, now he thinks they're hopeless

The only comments I objected to with Louis is that the was harping on about how it should have been Beverley and not Hope on stage. Now while I agree with him, I feel he overstepped the mark by a) bringing it up b) still feeling bitter towards the other judges c) not realising that it was the public and not the other judges who booted Beverley out.

He just showed himself out to be a bitter, twisted and old Irish Leprechaun.

The judges are there to comment on performances. I have never been a fan of Dannii Minogue but her comments, whether liked or not, are honest. When she said last week she'd watched Nikki's performance (Power of Love) back she'd been off key all the way through, it was the truth ....I couldn't believe at the time they'd all praised her for the performance because it was toe curlingly off key!!

I think Louis is taking over from Sharon in making it about the judges and their silly in house sniping.

I also think Dannii is being very dignified in not rising to the bait!! I noticed on the Xtra Factor when the judges were introduced, Sharon kind of pushed Dannii to go out first.

so , should danni just praise all the acts, regardless of how they perform?.
she was hired as a judge and she gives honest opinions, exactly what a judge shuld do

Dannii is very good looking IMO

Danni isn't a shrinking flower, she is quite capable of standing up for herself. She started the arguement, she didn;t seem upset to me, all the judges have a go at each other at some point, it's part of being an XF judge.
