Adam Rickitt
OK I know I'm gonna get completely slated for this one but I'm quite happy he's back!!! I thought he was pretty naff when he was on first time around - and then his extremely poor excuse 4 a pop career was a bismal. But I must admit I saw him in a show called RENT a few times that my mate was in and he was really good. The first time I watched it, the only bad thing I could say about him was that his American accent was a bit dodgy. I went with all intentions of slaggin him off but he was great - and a nice bloke. YAY

Played Gail's eldest son in Corrie. He left to forge a pop career, then cam e back for a bit and went again. Apparently he is coming back once again.
Prett boy - but not that convincing as an actor. Though compared to Keith Duffy - he is Kevin Spacey |

I thought when he came back from Canada to be at his mums wedding, he was a lot more mature and a better actor. When he first appeared a few years ago he was as wooden as my front door
I think it will be good to see him again, and maybe Gail will smile for a change

Nick is set to return into a love triangle. Nick fancies Maria again, whilst Todd begins to get sexual feelings for Nick!

I think it is absolutely pointless bringing him back, he's a bad singer, bad actor and he gets on my nerves
What's all this about Todd?? I heard that the writers were considering this storyline but nothing was confirmed! It would be ridiculous to do that, a boy of his age that has never once been seen questioning his sexuality all of a sudden becoming gay!? I'ts proposterous and i dont think it will go down well at all !!

Spoiler I guess ...
Well I'm only bothering with this spoiler because Chris did, personally if your a soap fan, you'd probably have to be dead not to know when a character is being killed off because all these type of storylines are ruined in advance by the newspapers and woman's magazine. But anyway.. I was just reading the Digital Spy story about his character being killed off and I have to wonder what is it with UK soaps and their obsession with killing people off. According to the Star on Sunday (no doubt a quality read)/Digital Spy story, a source claims that they can't recast so they'll have to kill him off. Why? Why can't he just move away again? Now I don't even watch Corrie, but why kill off established family character? Surely by killing of characters like Nick, this limits the soaps ability to draw on its long history in the future. I'm sure if Nick were to return in 5 years time, most people wouldn't care if it was someone else playing the part. Its not as if were aren't use to soaps recasting these days. |

Suppose theres only so many times you can recast an character and they've already done more than twice. Killing him off might be best for the character as he clearly doesn't want a long term future in the soap and they have nothing major planned for him and rather than forgetting he's in Canada why not kill him off. Sarah should kill him off for stealing Todd now that would be a way to go!

Not many people notice when you replace them when they are young as it's better for the show, but replacing adult actors doesn't do the character any credibility, 4 Tracy's and looks what it's done to the character probably the worst in the soaps history it's as if the other three never exsisted.

Forgive me for asking this, but I only started watching Corrie recently (My first episode was the Maxine murder one).
There are all these stories about Todd chasing Nick, but was/is Nick gay? Is turning Todd gay a way of increasing the political correctness score of the show? (And before u denounce me as a homophobe, I'm gay myself!! I just dont like programmes introducing gay characters because they feel they HAVE to) |
