Basically that they will stay together, all the stories of them falling out were lies. When asked who they wanted to win they all shouted RHYDIAN., and how committed and professional and lovely he was..............and Brian Friedman also said Rhydian.............

Played clips of how bitchy Lulu has become and that was it...no mention of the theme or songs for this week. Pretty rushed to be honest.

They said that all the bad press about them was rubbish. Also Brian said that Louis decided at the last minute to not go ahead with a ballet routine (dancers, not Louis!!!) that was to be onstage when Niki sang 'Fields of Gold'. That was why he felt justified in commenting on every other acts 'gimmicks'.

At the end of the show, Westlife were asked who they thought would win TXF. Some said Rhydian and some Leon.

Aww thanks guys for the info

o i thoguht i'd post this here, if anyone is interested:

But the most promising indication of Hope's continued success came from Louis Walsh, who spoke to Emily's mum Sue after the show.

Sue explained: "Louis was incredibly positive to me.

"He said that in his view Hope were as good as Girls Aloud.

"He said with a good manager and producer they can do really well and that he would help."

At the moment Hope are being managed by someone from record company Sony BMG, who is co-ordinating the press coverage this week and has organised a gig in Birmingham on Saturday.

It's very upsetting, but all the girls are being positive and they really thank everyone for their support.

"They held it together really well on stage because I think they all knew it was coming."

Sue knew in advance because she'd spotted a post-it note attached to the side of one of the cameras, telling them which act to film when Dermot announced the result.

She said: "I felt a mixture of relief and sadness because of all that had gone on and I was obviously disappointed for Em.

That seems odd. Wouldn't the director be telling the cameramen that kind of info in their cans, rather than writing it on post-its and giving the post-its to runners to take to the cameramen?

Hi Peaceblagenie,
I'm a Rhydian fan, not a Hope fan (just not keen on girl groups) but I'd just like to say they came across as a lovely group of girls on This Morning (and that's not just because they support Rhyd). They seemed really happy and more relaxed now the pressure is off. They weren't at all bitter like some ex-contestants are and didn't try and make excuses. They said they did not regret going as a group and they had got 4 best friends out of it. They are very excited about the X-factor tour. To be honest they came across as a lot more likeable than some girl groups I could name. Rhydian is going to miss them as they all got on really well.

A couple more things I remembered. Bradley Walsh said he was in the studio and it sounds different to how it does on TV and he thought they sounded much better there. Brian said that normally girl groups have ear monitors, which they didn't, so it was more difficult for them. When they were talking about the X-factor tour I thought one of them said they were also doing their own tour but I could have mis-heard as they were all talking at once. I definitely heard Emily say they had got some surprises in store. Oh and Emily said there's definitely no romance with Leon.

Sorry you missed it.

He said the same to Eton Road last year....ultimately SBMG have an option on all acts, but it's whether they take it up. After the XF tour, if they have had no SBMG offer, they can see what else will be on the table.

Realistically I dont fancy their chances, record companies really aren't into spending bucket loads of money..maybe Raquelle can get her dad to throw in some money.

I guess they'll be doing a club tour e.g. Chicago Rocks, gay clubs like Nightingales in Birming ham etc ...it's a well trod path by ex XF Finalists

I hope they get a deal.

If the practice more and more, they cvan really be very good.
In the end, they look better than the spice ones did at beginning and they have made it past some others in bootcamp finals, before being made into a group.
If they stick toghether, they can have chart success.
There is a place for everyone on those charts. The buying public has different tastes.

i agree, dont like the idea of post it notes, and especially if audience members can see them

I was thinking about the practicalities. I just can't see how that would actually, physically work.

I mean, I can't imagine why she'd lie about it, but I also just cannot picture how or why what she describes would happen. I don't have any first-hand experience working in this kind of television, but the director would certainly be in constant communication with the cameramen through their cans throughout in any case. Given that, I have no idea why one of them would either get handed a note giving him or her instructions or write them down themselves.
