Tex messages on phone

Is there a way I can bar tex's from a landline phone? I keep on getting blank ones! I don't what them in any case. Thanks

If you have a BT landline, yes.

Same number for other landlines including cable (which use the BT system).

MSE have been having server / routing problems for the last few days, sometimes you can get on, often you can't.

You could try going via a proxy such as http://www.proxydust.com

The number to call to block SMS coming through to your landline is: 0800 587 5252.

This is the number for the BT SMS system, works from cable lines too.

Not sure if they still do, but people using / receiving from T-Mobile and their virtuals aren't covered as it's a different system.
