I have a Samsung V6700S DVD+VHS combo (bought on behalf of someone else) connected to a TV. While playing a DVD, I can't find out how to return to the menu (e.g. to select the next title or special features).

There are two 'relevant' buttons on the remote: MENU & DISC MENU. MENU displays setup options to do with what kind of TV etc. DISC MENU operation is not allowed - a red circle with diagonal stripe is shown in the top right corner of the TV.

My own DVD player (part of a Denon system) has this functionality and I assumed that all DVD players would. The Samsung is a recent model. Why is this control absent?

is this a home made disc off camcorder or a pirate disc?

they wont have a menu


if its a bona fide dvd then you have a problem
