Panasonic Plasma not able to play DVDs
RogerAlpha

Hello
I have a 42" panasonic plasma screen and a Samsung DVD player. My baby girl was fiddling with the TV remote and ever since then the TV does not have audio or video (just a blank screen) when playing DVDs. So far we never had a problem. I can go to TV/AV select, select HDMI input, but all I get is a blank screen. Is there anything else I need to do? I have already checked connections etc.

Thanks

Use a different HDMI socket ( if your tv has one )- try different cable - different HDMI device - sorry cant be more helpful.

Try different HDMI socket first..........

Then, to check that the DVD itself is working just plug in a scart and check the audio/picture using that.

If DVD definitely working then try another device with and HDMI connection and try this on the TV.

you should now know if it is the DVD player, the HDMI cable or the HDMI socket on the TV.

Rgds,
