Final Four Appreciation Thread

Okay, I for one am getting a bit tired of all the negativity and squabbling going on in this board. The final four ALL deserve to be there, especially as none of the acts have been in the bottom two once.

So this is a thread to celebrate the X Factorness and say something nice about ALL of them. Every single one. Let's see if we can all be grown up and play nicely here, okay? Let's see if this'll work out...

So I shall begin. Alphabetical order.

Leon - I love this guy's voice - it's so distinctive and just has a nice quality to it. Plus he seems to have sung my favourite songs week after week, apart from YDKM which I wasn't too familiar with, but thank him loadsmuss for. I really like the jazz-style Buble thing he does.

Niki - She puts real emotion into her performances, and does have a nice voice - hers was one of my favourite auditions; I missed the show from week four of auditions to the second weeks of live performances, and found myself remembering her before she came on and hoping she made it.

Rhydian - A real showman. You do have to sit up and take notice of him. I personally did like Get The Party Started - I was honestly thinking "What... the... hell..." before it started, but he really pulled it off. He really does come alive on stage! Plus he sang Phantom, from one of my favourite musicals.

Same Difference - Good old 90s fun!! My inner-child adores them, and I really love looking forward to what toe-tapping tune they'll be singing each week. But, as shown with Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now, they can be more grown up, and could be credible artists. Walsh needs to get over himself where these two are concerned!!

Well there's my two cents. I'll hand it over to you lot now!

My personal opinion is that the right four acts have made the final. Yes, I have been sorry to see some acts going, like Bev and Andy, but overall these four acts have bought the most to the show this year

Leon - I think it's amazing how far his come in such a short time. He's my favorite act because when he sings I feel that he really connects with the songs on an emotional level, and I just love the rich tone of voice he has.

Niki - I think she has been back to her best after a diffiult few weeks mid way through the show, I liked that she was able to do a song that required a deft touch as well as a song that required a bit more welly this week...

Rhydian - Very gifted vocally, and I admire him for putting all the pre-show issues that cropped up behind him and getting on with it.

Same Difference - They are maybe not my cup of tea, but they are very likeable and fun, I can see why they appeal to a lot of people.

Leon...Well i am biased but. Fantastic Voice, has made such improvement since his first show. has a distinctive voice and is starting to come into his own and make his presence felt on the show. Is now seen as a dark horse but ive known his potential since day one. He deserves his place in the final as he loves music and performing, a career in music would be a dream come true for him.

Same Difference- I loved their performance of Nothings gonna stop us, secretly love that song and their cheesiness seems to be a winner with the british public. They are genuinely nice people and their voices fit well together. Since their audition i never thought theyd make it this far, but their doing a grand job.

Rhydian- The Xfactor has definately been a showcase for his type of music and he's doing classical music a big favour in bringing it to a wider audience. His strong voice and personality makes him a fave to win, i think he will go far whether he wins or not. He's a really lovely guy to meet, and has lots of time for his fans, and others.

Niki- She has an outstanding voice and can really carry off those big notes, she is an undiscovered talent and will certainly make a career in music whatever happens in the competition.

Rhydian - just fantastic. Has an amazing voice and tons of charisma. Definitely has the X factor.

Leon - has improved a LOT and has a lovely sort of chocolatey voice (bit weird I know...)

Same Difference - good fun, a nice change from all the other acts, it's hard not to feel happy watching them

Niki - she has a very good voice, definitely the best female in the comp this year

Rhydian - Delivers a good performance every week, has maintained a modest appearance on television (in relation to his perceived favourite to win status), isn't afraid to camp it up if a song requires it, unusual baritone voice definitely taps into the iL Divo market.

Nikki - Amazing voice, IMO the best voice still in the competition from a purely commercial stand-point. Has a GREAT pair of assets (some of her dancing around has had me worried they may pop out at any second!). She can take Simon's indifference with grace and a modicum of cheekiness.

Leon - Has stopped looking like a frightened animal and therefore my enjoyment of his performances has also increased. Has a good solid voice and can pull out some moves when required. Quiet good looking and has been styled the best (ie most consistently) all series.

Same Difference - Fun fun fun with a capital camp. Always deliver their complex choreography like it is second nature. Put a smile on my face despite (or possibly because of) the absurdity of some of their performances. When they get the chance to showcase their vocals they do show that they can clearly sing very well and cope with continuous harmonies without being flat or pitch-y.

Leon - I loved his audition, must admit went off him in the live shows but on saturday he really blew me away, back to loving the leon king

Niki - Good voice, her performances are very good when she gets the right songs - My Heart will go on was fantastic

Rhydian - Despite last week, i think hes got a great voice, must admit I prefer the camper stuff - Get This Party Started was amazing

Same Difference - My favourites since week 1 of the live shows, they are amazing, cheesy, happy, bubbly, good singers, good dancers, they definitely have the x factor

Well said Aesha, I had got a bit fed up with the combatition this year (as Simon calls it) , but I thought this week all the acts had improved and were very watchable, I knew Hope would go, but simply on the basis of the performance on saturday, no one act stood out as obviously weaker, in fact i thought their version of WWRY was really good, i was amazed they didn't get better feedback . I think anyone could win this year, my thoughts on the remaining 4 are:

Rhdyian - great performer, his voice isn't to my taste but will be worthy winner if he wins
Niki - probably my favourite now, think she has a lovely voice and looked great this week, very J Lo
Leon - is finally justifying why he is there, his voice is good and has a lovely tone, he just needs to develop his stage craft but that will come
Same Difference - polished and quite fun to watch but can't imagine buying a record by them unless it was for my kids.
