Bt Woes
Well Here is my Story,
I moved into my apartment just over a week ago I am in IT and NetWork Techie so having the internet is pretty important to me So the day i move in i phone up bt i tell them there is a line in my apartment it just needs activated they insisted there wasnt then sugested id be paying £129 connection charge so i agreed to all that as i really need'd the internet after a few days of not hearing from them i phoned them back they droped the connection charge and i thought all was great and decided there was a line in my apartment! then a week after that i phoned them after not hearing anything to be told they cant find me on the system that i may not have been put on yet so i asked them can they find me were ever they keep things that arnt on the "active system" they told me it would be on paper "somewere" so BT A Large UK company Keeps all its records on paper!? Then Another phone call later and hours on Hold they tell me they have lost me cant find anything and there will be a connection charge and just to hold tight for a while any IdeaS? im in belfast northern ireland and Virgin Media isnt in my area |

are you in a new build? have you tried a phone in the socket? if you have dial tone dial 17070, this will give you the number. quote this next time you ring them will make it easier for them to find you.
