They also spent a good few minutes showing the rat clip and stating it was the funniest thing that anyone had ever seen.
Biggins called Janice vile, hideous and talked about her being raped as a child by her father.

You are right it was totally over the top and yes sickening describes it very well. Once the program was over the announcer said Biggins did well didn't he.

Why watch it if you hate Biggins so much?
The only time I watch any of those daytime programmes is during the show run.
I must say it's been great not making myself watch anymore.

This bigging of biggins is really making him unpopular which is good as his show will now bomb big time.

He was on GMTV this morning and yes much the same sort of interview. ITV are really going over the top with Biggins. The majority of people see him as a washed up 1970's TV bit player. Unlike ITV we don't see him as the new messiah even at this time of year.

I don't know whether I'm the only one, but I really didn't find the rat episode that funny. Perhaps it's my sense of humour. Having said this I would not have lasted 5 seconds in that place, anything else other than rats I would have been fine, but Rats OMG!
Biggins really is doing the rounds and raking in the cash for Christmas isn't he. Where's Janice we need more of her on British TV.

I didn't see Biggins on TV today BUT I'm glad he won and I wish him every success for the future. There is far too much bitchiness around these days and it would be such a refreshing break to have someone like him on TV - as opposed to backstabbers like Rodney, John and Janice

All I can say is Thank God for the off button! Seriously - I couldn't watch the show after he'd won - the big love in that ensued on the ITV2 programme was nauseating. Janice did the right thing getting straight in the helicopter! I'm actively avoiding anything where he is likely to be a guest

No, I watched it alright and revelled in seeing Janice get a taste of her own medicine after Rodney left. She was entertaining- but I'd hate to be an associate of hers- that diva act stinks!

Its revolting isn't it. Janice is right to distance herself from Biggins and his creepy pals at ITV at least she has a bit of dignity.
I knew all his comments would cause uproar.
The one part I thought ... "wooah there" was when he started saying about her sister being raped. That was only ever on the live feed and not shown (he may not have known this but even so) so I think he should have just not said anything about that.
As for the other parts.. well she has said some scathing things about him also.. so tit for tat and all that.
