Same here, I'm getting it for Christmas from my sister. Hope it is easy to follow. I've got the Lilia Latinasize (only got recently) and finding that pretty difficult to keep up with! Will be good if someone does post a review although appreciate we're all different and will make our own minds up when tried it.

I got it today as a birthday pressie from my Mum.She got one for herself. She's watched it already - says it looks like hard work and she had to lie down after watching Karen's jive..

Watching as I type.

All you need for Karen's salsa is a bit of Ramps and you'd be away...

By the way - my Ramps appears to be missing!

BBonTN - guess it's only just out so not surprising, but will post my thoughts when I've watched it/attempted to dance it!

Send it back straight away LOL!

I thought it was released on the 25th so I've been watching for reviews, but can only find 'official' ones - I want to read the real deal LOL!

Still haven't tried actually dancing it (not well enough *sniff*), but have watched the intro, all the routines, and some of the explanation bits.

My first impression is that I'll enjoy having a go at it and I'm glad I bought it!

Obviously having only watched it my thoughts are based on impressions of how hard things are, music etc. But better than nothing I hope!

Explanation wise I think it suffers from the same thing as Latinacise, it's just hard for pros to put things in a way a clueless non dancer can understand, and I found with Lilia's vid too the easiest thing was actaully just to do the routine, watch the bits i couldn't immediately follow, dance the bits I could catch, and gradually work up to being able to follow the whole thing.

Some great music choices and some deliberate (and IMO fun ) allusions to former couples' routines - Jill's jive, Denise's QS, Mark's salsa among them.

Think I prefer the warm up and cool down to Lilia's, partly because of better music choices, partly just I think better routines.

The routines themselves look fun, in places more complex just in terms of lots of different stuff going on than Lilia's, but in some places I think possibly less physically demanding. So probably good for me whose brain works slightly better than my body!! LOL!

There's no slow routine like the rumba in Lilia's workout, but I the cool down has plenty of rumba inspired movements and could fill that spot. It would have been nice to have a more chilled routine in there though.

The jive in particular looks less scary than Lilia's and maybe will help me work up to one day trying to get a grip on Lilia's routine! It has some deliberate "have a rest" type spots worked in so there are places to get one's breath back.

Can't really say, having not actually USED it, if I think it is better than or not as good as Latinacise, but I think I will enjoy it and will probably still use Lilia's vid, so for me it's a good addition to my selection of "work out vids that aren't deadly boring"

Hope this is vaguely helpful, will try and post something more conclusive when I have actually USED it

Does it look like you need a lounge the size of the SCD studio to do it in or is it quite compact?

There's a little preview video on Amazon, if that helps Puffle. It looks like it can be done in quite a compact space...

Very good point and something i've been caught out with when buying exercise DVD's in the past. It ended up putting me off doing them as i had to move some of the furniture each time
