Conspiracy Theory Roundup
Since the frankly barking mad grassy-knollists are cropping up all over the place over the last week, I thought I'd give Conspiracy Theories a proper home of their own. As they've clearly been denied one hitherto due to Masonic interference and infiltration by the NSA.
So to recap then, Endemol, who after the runaway success of BB all over the world, have bored of their creation, decide that the best policy would be to run it into the ground. If BB4 is a success, then they'll just have to go through the whole tiresome applications / auditions / selection process again and again ad nauseum - but they're sick of it, so they hatch a fiendish plan to editorially and contractually stifle any attempt at life in the BBUK house. They join forces with representatives of all the major Christian churches to promote their guy Cam. They decide to label this year's policy "Back to Christian Values". Housemates are forced to adopt a no-nudity policy. Even Gos has resisted showing his man-breasts in public. They then begin to systematically destroy any housemate who refuses to play along. Bubbly bouncy-breasted fun-loving young girl? First against the wall. Nonchristian not-so-choosy nightclub handbag-dancer? You're next. Atheist with massive popular support? Game's over, smart boy. Night and day the ruthless crack team of editors from Endemol's Ministry of Eradication strive tirelessly to cover up any sign of unchristian behaviour, whilst brutally eliminating non-compliant housemates one by one in an order predetermined by the Archbishop of Canterbury some months ago. Sex on the pink carpet in the bathroom - twice? Edit that one right out. Nudity in the showers? I think not! This isn't darkest Africa, you know. Even now, with Tania's departure being hailed as the most certain bet any bookie has ever offered in connection with Big Brother, they are working to set up Nush's character assassination timed to come to fruition next week - step one has blackened her reputation across an entire continent, step two remains a guarded secret but I suspect will involve editing together fragments from several hundred diary room chats to make it subtly appear as if she's tearfully dumping her boyfriend on live TV - I await with interest, but that's my Theory. Recently we've seen the power of The Lord has stepped in to make all copies of the incriminating footage of Cam (apparently saying he could punch Jon's teeth to the back of his throat) spontanaously erase themselves, highly suspiciously leaving no evidence whatsoever. Additionally, my favourite HM Jon was unjustly evicted, due to evil British Telecom counting all votes for Jon to be evicted twice due to a computer trojan horse in the counting system implanted by dark forces under the control of the Knights Templar. By the end, Cam wins, Church attendance skyrockets, Physics is dismissed as blasphemous, and BB is cancelled. Result! What have I missed? if you come across any other conspiracy theories, please append them here (like in the Lovin' Your Work thread) - then, when it's nice and full I'll send the whole lot off to www.davidicke.com and see what those guys make of it. Bob

![]() Actually it did occur to me that Ch 4, new boss and all, might be trying to run BB into the ground for whatever strange reason. I cant believe bb are so incompetent that they dont know what they are doing. Still.why run a highly succesfull show into the ground?. Reason, snobbishness. Never underestimate the power of the snob. who will forgo anything just to kill something they dont like. |

Cameron is a relative of one of the production staff of BB4 and has been lined up to win by some means. The £70,000 prize fund will then be split between the production staff and Cameron, who after all has received a brief sojourn in Africa and two flights by private jet, will receive nothing.

Such sarcasm ! And aimed at those multitudes who believe this year's sham is a Christian conspiracy. Considering i have yet to hear one person point a finger in that direction, I'd say you just wasted a lot of time and effort on a disingenuous attempt to discredit the conspiracy theorists.
Who cares ? Cam to win ! |

Cameron's Twin Brother
The BB Producers decided that Cameron who entered the house hadn't turned out to be as good as they had hoped, so decided to take him out, especially since they wanted him to leave out one of the other guys from the reward room so that he took in Nush, Steph and Tan-yah! Meanwhile, his twin brother was flown to Africa so that he could appear in the BBA house and pretend to be Cameron (on 'e'!) before returning to the UK house and continue the pretence of being Cameron. Cam2 is less reticent about being overtly flirtatious and so will crank up the sexual tension providing Steph and Nush stay in.
So next week will see three boys (Ray and Scott and Gos) up for eviction, with BB deciding to have another double eviction ("planned" because it would be symetrical with the double eviction prior to the Africa Trip) and then not having any evictions for two weeks, with Gos to go the week before the final eviction night, leaving a well fed group of Cam, Steph and Nush for the final week. Who knows what will happen in the final week? BB does! |

Actually, the scheduled 'final week' has been cancelled. The show will finish a week earlier than planned, and the second, third and fourth-placed finishers will get a full week on BBLB whilst Our Official Big Brother UK Ambassador makes an Official Ambassadorial Visit to Our Colonial Big Brother Brethren in the Big Brother USA House, returning to his Knighthood investiture ceremony at Heathrow teatime Friday.
Long Live SirCam! |

Originally posted by bob.stone Yeah you rock at it ! LOL !I enjoy being disingenuous, and I'm getting quite good at it, so it's no waste at all. Have you ever worked in Television though or have any idea of how these shows work other than from sitting there on your butt in front of the TV set ? It's just yes, while frankly some of these conspiracy theories are complete lunacy i don't think it's fair to dismiss everything that has been alleged. It wouldn't be the first time a TV company has had a guiding influence over who wins their multi million pound TV show and if reports are true that C4 are in fact not as happy as they would like people to think about how BB has gone this year then they would start interfering from the network side and being a few people stuck in a house with supposdley no contact Endemol would have no option but to start trying to shape things they way they want so some of what people are spotting may well be right. Remember at the end of the day it's only a game show, and Big Brother can change the rules at any time - but that works for the producers benefit just as well as it does the viewers. There are things that happened in past Big Brothers that were never aired and you wouldn't believe in a million years they happened but i'll tell you first hand they did. BB can use editing and omit anything they like to fit their purposes - you don't hear diary room conversations and you don't hear what happens in sound and vision dips, yet they are all integral to how that show runs. Any conspiracy theories aside, my personal opinion on it is that something has gone wrong this year, the mood and profiles of the viewers are not what they expected and so they've ended up putting the wrong type of people in the house. That means the network will get involved and Endemol will have no option but to fiddle with things here and there. I don't really believe any other conspiracy theories but i do believe Cameron was pre-selected for the BBSA trip - i think it would have had to be done that way from a production point of view. Not sure there is this big set-up for him to win but who goes and who stays is an integral part of how the story develops each week and it's obvious they use editing to nudge the viewers in the direction they'd like. I don't believe it's a foregone thing that Camerons won but i do think they have their favorites and he's one of them. If he wins you can imagine the commercial gain they could get out of a Cameron diary of his time in BB or a DVD of his trip - there'd be a lot more content than any of the HM's and at the end of the day it all comes down to money. Gonzo [/b] From what I have seen Cameron seemd to make a good show of himself on the decidedly more lively BB Africa and a DVD probably would sell. From my experience of marketing people they would be trying to leave as little as possible to chance (whether their interference improves things is a *whole* different discussion )

Here's the latest conspiracy rumour floating around the internet: top BB bosses placed over 500,000 pounds on Cameron to win two weeks ago when the odds against him were sky-high. If they can pull it off, they'll win millions.

If they can pull it off, they'll win millions. Speaking of which, this is also fascinating reading - our very first week's "who do you want out first" poll - as of this minute, it ended at 675 votes cast, 80 for Scott (most popular to keep!), 168 for Fed, 213 for Anouska, and - astonishingly - 214 votes in favour of ditching the funny-looking speccy one who was always banging on about Star Wars and Lord of the Rings! - one week later and he was the board favourite by orders of magnitude and remained so till he was taken off the latest poll. Could we ALL have changed our minds so fast? What's REALLY going on? ![]() Bob

Found on thread "Listen THIS IS THE REASON why Jon was kicked out"... Quote:

Is this the conspiracy theory thread? Cool. I was looking for that. Right. Jon was manoeuvred out of the show this week by callous editing. The intention was to get Jon out and in particular to keep Cameron in. If BB had left Jon in, he would have stood a good chance of going the distance. However, he did say that he did not want to be famous, and was keen just to return to his job. That is not what Endemol would want of BB winner, is it? What they want is an Ambassador for the programme, the series, the concept, the company. It is just like Miss World. Miss World must be an Ambassador for the Miss World organisation. If they fail to do that pose nude or take drugs, they get stripped of their title. Now, coincidentally Endemol have asked Cameron to be an Ambassador for BB in South Africa. He is Ambassador material and like the anti-Christ happy to be given power and control, just what Endemol wants to help promote their BB brand in the UK and across the world. They clearly want him to win the series, and just to make sure, he can't be nominated either. What's this about Cameron's family running Endemol? |
