An HDMI DVD player for 30 quid.
Anyone got one of these HDMI DVD players from TESCO?
What do you think of it? Also, does the upscaled signal come out of the RGB as well as the HDMI? |

But an upscaling DVD player isn't any better picture than a normal one, your TV already upscales anyway. [qoute] Also, does the upscaled signal come out of the RGB as well as the HDMI?[/quote] No, RGB is only SD, it was never upgraded for HD, as HD is essentially American who never used RGB for TV. |

Depends if the upscaling chip in the DVD player is better than the one in the telly to be honest.

However there's no reason for the cost to mean it can't do decent progressive detection and supply a decent 576p signal on HDMI for films. |
