I just loved Rhydian's "Somewhere" on X Factor but what other ballads has he sung on the show and where can i hear them?

Rhydian song list:

I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)
Phantom of the Opera
Get This Party Started
You Raise Me Up
Go West
Somewhere
World In Union

and he will be doing two ballads this coming week, Bridge Over Troubled Waters and You'll Never Walk Alone.

The ones he has already performed are on YouTube on the official X Factor account.

They wish - they had him right there, I mean RIGHT THERE and let him go. That's OUR money they have wasted.

And he also did "Somebody To Love" last week too.

I'm pretty sure they got the right man for the job - i.e Joseph - with Lee Mead....

Absolutely, Lee is far better suited to Joseph than Rhydian ever would have been. But I believe Rhydian would be better suited to Phantom or Aspects, for example, than Lee.

Different voices suit different genres, no-one is better or worse, just different.

Yes, I absolutely agree (Rhydian wouldn't really have been suited to that role), but surely Barrowman et al are looking at what's happening now and wondering if only they had done something, I don't know what, but something, you know?

Oh I see what you mean...well I suppose it's difficult when they must have seen so many people audition. It's easy for someone to slip between the cracks. Of course it makes them look a bit silly in hindsight, but then it's easy to say now, isn't it?

But then again X-Factor were so close to letting Rhydian go as well - I mean Danni said no to him in his first audition and he was close to not making it into the live shows. I think Rhydian's one of those people who you have to see doing the right song to be able to fully appreciate him, yknow, and after all those Joseph auditions Rhyd probably done a naff song (like his first XF auditon) and John Barrowman etc just didn't think twice.

He absolutely came alive in the live stage/studio audience setting of X Factor. Which is always how it should be IMHO.
